We just called them back because for months they have been calling us leaving messages about being sued, getting served, being from the court, and legal matters.. We asked them for their BOND NUMBER and their scripted answer from two different people was, "We are not a law firm or an attorney, so we wouldn't have a bond number".  Then we told them, well you guys have been claiming to be from an attorney, from the court, and legal processing center. We then told them that we know they are a debt collector, and in order for them to collect debt in our state (California), they had to have a bond number.  They coughed on that one, and said you are mistaken on many fronts, then hung up.

SO.. if you want them to quit calling you.. start asking about the bond #, so you can pursue further legal action..

These people have been harassing me, my family in other states saying that I am being sued and that they are going to be serving me with court documents and need my correct address.. and to another family member saying that I can't run from them..  What do I do? These are from medical bills from when I was taken to the hospital two years ago a couple days before my medical insurance with work kicked in.. uggghhhh

Have received several calls, most I ignored since I didn't recognize the number but today I answered my cell phone real time without looking at the number and they were asking for an Omedra Rump ... and then a Mr. or Mrs. Rump.

I have no idea who or what these people are but I don't understand why they would have my cell phone number which almost no one has :-)

I told them I didn't know the names and to take my number off their calling list.  The man said "There is no list Mam" and hung up.

He sounded very cheerful at the onset when saying hello to Omedra Rump :-)  ..  I can only assume they are a debt collector based on other posts.

My grandmother recd a call from someone named investigator Norris. She provided her name and number. Erin Norris and phone # 888-286-3470. Ext. 801. She told my grandma it was important I call or the county police would be picking me up. I immediatly call. The receptionist answers. Asked who I was. She connected me to Erin Norris. She stated I wrote a 700 dollar bad check on 12/30/09. I said I don't really write checks. What is this pertaining to. She said I had a pay day loan from Cash Net. I said I don't recall this. She insisted I pay the 700 dollars or I would be picked up by the county police. Asked me did I have any warrants or was I on probation? I explained to her I have never been in trouble with the law. She said she was calling the county police and for me to listen and write as they talk. She calls gives them a case # and my name.this person now says I'm in the system but nothin to come and get me yet. She then says I owe 794.73. When the line clears norris says how much can you pay. I said if I owe something this is the 1st I'm hearing about it and I could work something out with them. To make a long story short I was so afraid of being picked up by th police I provided my bank card info.paying half n the next to be takin out on my next pay day. Speaking to my fiance about this. He advised me to call by bank and cancel the transaction. I called the local police dept. He stated this was a scam in they could not do this and to call my bank and cancel my card. I did just that. Bank stated they had to wait until it posted be for I could file a claim. I waited and filed my claim. Sad to say they denied my claim and norris called on payday and left a voicmail that the 2nd payment declined. She has called me n my grandma several times. We don't answer. #. Calling from. 678-608-3227. Recd a call from a 410 area code. My area code in my city. A lady says Bureau Investigations. Asked to speak to me. She asked what city I live in. I said why are u calling my job. She said do u still live in my old city. I said no and why are u calling my place of employment. She got mad and said maam good luck n hung up. The # she called from was410-265-8080. My local FBI #. I'm very angery at myself for falling to these a***oles! This is not the FBI calling and these people are a bunch of scammers I want takin down! They deserve some jail time!

I have contacted the TEXAS AG'S OFFICE ABOUT ANOTHER SON OF BI*** BY NAME OF ALEX MARTI N SAID HE WAS FROM A COMPANY NAMED WEST FIELD AND ASSOC. I ran a trace on west field and assoc and there is nun in the U.S.A. I also ran COLLINSWORTH AND ASSOC. MR. LONG DONG AND THRER IS ALSO NO SUCH NAME. YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE DON 'T HAVE TO TAKE ANY BULL S*** FROM THE SORRY NO GOOD SON OF BI***'S, THEY SAY THEY ARE COPS AND THEY ARE NOT, DON'T BE SCARED JUST TELL THEM TO GO TO HELL AND NOT CALL YOUR NUMBER ANYMORE' I HAVE BEEN RECORDING EVERY PHONE CALL I GET FROM THEM. THEY THINK THEY CAN  HIDE BEHIND THESE RENTED PHONE NUMBERS, THEY WILL SOON FIND OUT, THEY CAN'T, HAS ANYBODY HEARD THE PHRASE....DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS....WELL MR. LONG DONG HAS MESSED WITH TEXAS THIS TIME...I AM GOING TO TRY MY VERY VERY BEST TO SEE HIM IN A TEXAS JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bunch of a-holes!  I received a call earlier this week from 678-608-3229.  This morning I received a call from the same number.  The caller identified himself as Joshua Bridgeforeman (sic) (ext. 816) and said he was calling regarding a criminal matter and had not received any correspondence from me or my attorney.  Said he works for Coleman & Schwartz.  He threatened to escalate the matter if he did not hear from me or my attorney today (8.31.2011) by 2 p.m. EST.
I called back, and the receptionist answered the phone with ?Coleman & Schwartz, who am I speaking with?? I refused to give my name, and asked for extension 816.  Joshua came on the line and began reading from a script.  I asked him what this was regarding, and he wanted me to verify that I was who I am.  He gave my name and had the last 4 digits of my Social Security number.  I refused to answer that, and again asked him what he was calling about.  He said it was a private matter, and I countered with ?Well, if it?s a criminal matter, it will be a matter of public record, so go ahead and tell me.?  He refused, so I said, ?Fine, you can call my attorney and discuss it with her.?  At that point, he refused to do so, and told me I could contact my attorney once I?ve been charged (and was trying to also imply that I will be arrested).  Then he hung up.  Bring it, bitchez!

This number keeps calling my business looking for a person that does not work here, and to my knowledge, never did. I repeatedly have told them this and asked to have my number removed from their system, but still getting calls and when I ask for information about who they are, they hang up.
