I can confirm it is not a scam. We got a call from this number regarding a check we had given a service provider who was trying to cash the check.

THIS IS NOT A SCAM, ACTUALLY THIS IS A SERVICE FOR MERCHANT VERIFICATION IN ORDER TO FIGHT FRAUDULENT CHECKS FOR BEING CASHED ON THE MARKET.

It isn't a scam. It is one of check into cashes main branches and if someone takes a check in their that is 2 party they will call the person who wrote the check to verify if you actually wrote it or if someone actually stolen that check! I know this because a friend wrote my husband a check, he went to cash it and he called her asking her to answer this number so they could verify that she actually wrote the check out to him.

they said they are check czar - it really sounds like a dcam , the asked me for my personal informations and said that someone was trying to cash one of my checks.
