These people call me twice a day, most of the time when i am busy. push 1 to answer 2 to reject a sales call.
ATT&T how can we stop them??????

This is your privacy director number. Any calls that come in from anonymous callers (bill collectors, money grubbers, etc) from non published numbers will show up under this. It is part of your phone package.

i got a call from this number i dont know the company or anything it said it was a collect call but didnt say a name my  girlfriend is in the hospital so i thought it was her and acepted was this a scam should i call the phone company or what this s**t is messed up

I get this a lot...anything that says "privacy detector" goes unanswered.

I just received a phone call at 1.45 AM in the morning from this nunber!

I just happen to work late, and am awake at this time. I didn't answer it but saw the phone number on my called ID: 678-363-1000

This person woke up my roommates who work early in the morning. I imagine they will be pissed off in the morning and will call and make hell to figure out who called and woke them up.

03/30/2011, I have receive this week four telephoe call and today I receive three on my telephone
every telephone call that comes in they are recorded it is a waste of the callers time calling because
when the answering machine say's 678 I no longer pick-up the telephone I use to but when I picked
the telephone up no one say's any thing. I've reported this to AT&please notice the &seperates the
"t"s.

Could you please remove my name from your calling list your calls come early in the morning (7:30/
around 11:30 during the week and at any hour on Sunday's being a retire US Army Veteran of three
shooting Wars I believe I deserve something better.

It's 6:25 AM in the morning, and some idiot from this same phone number called me. It gave the "Privacy Director" thing and just the phone number. Makes me angry some idiot would call me so darn early in the morning, waking up my roommates, and me if I was a normal night sleeper.

Says card service,,press 1 for sales, 2 to decline, 3 to ignore. Calls many times a week, two to three calls a day.

Someone called me from a place called Hammond and Associates who claims that they wanted verify information. I hung up on them.

guy claiming to be a locator working for an investment company looking to disburse unclaimed assets.

Calls one or two times a day

678-838-1000 shows up 2 days in a row on my cell.  This started after I forwarded the home number to my cell.  No message left with either call.  Finally I found that this is the number that shows up when the Privacy Director kicks in with AT&T.  So all it means is someone blocking their number called my house.  I guess since Privacy Director grabbed the call they don't get to leave a message on my cell.
