first of all we don not use a telemarketing co. second of all if you call the # on your caller Id you can call our office directly! The officers never want to offend anyone so we keep strict calling practices, I can assure you if you r getting a lot of phone calls they are not coming from us. We are having a problem in our state with telemarketing companies calling from out of state claiming they are us!!! If you do not want us to call,please dial 7013560544 that is our office # or if you prefer call grant Benjamin, he is the president and recently retired Fargo Police officer. I can assure you your request will be followed immediately!!
So many bad things said on this web site about an organization of Law enforcement officers who not only lay their life on the line everyday for us but voulunter their time to make our state a better place. IE THe loss of two great officer in 2011,Sgt Steve Kenner and Deputy Brian Sleeper, or have we all forgeot these men already, BOTH were board members of the NDFOP dedicated to making our communities a safer place. EVERY penny donated to the NDFOP stays in our state,and benefits our children and communities. It frustrates me that we have people posting things and they have never done any research because if they did, if they even took the time to just call the atty gen's office they would be embarrassed that they put these posts up. All they hurt is our state and communities and then we all sit and watch people donate to organazations represented by telemarketeers who take our money and it never comes back!!!!!

On my caller I.D. is NDFOP and when I try to answer it hangs up.  I get these calls very frequintly. Almost daily.   How can I stop these calls?

I can assure you NO ONE who represents the NDFOP infers they are an officer. Also we are not a telemarketing company. The NDFOP is a LEGIMATE organization comprised of LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS from all over the STATE. These officers are dedicated to making North Dakota a better as well as a safer place for all of us here in ND. I am sure you have heard of some of the programs we sponsor. Such as COPS and KIDS, these officers take many children that are less fortunate than most in our State shopping for xmas. Many of these events are evn shown on the areas local news.
Unfortunately we have TELEMARKETING COMPANIES calling from out of state and infer they are us! This leads many in our public to think we are calling them everyday as well as up to 4 or 5 times a day. We do not,Officer Grant Benjamin who also is the President of the NDFOP would NEVER allow this.
I would like to advise anyone who reads this to PLEASE ask the caller if they are a PAID SOLICATOR,if they say yes or refuse to answer they are a telemarketer. When we call we GIVE Grant Benjamins direct phone number so you can verify it really is us. Also let me post our office phone # 701-356-0544. If anyone has a question or a complaint PLEASE call me and I will answer your question honestly and to the best of my ability as well as try to help you with any complaint you may have. The officers of the NDFOP prides itself on what they do and they put the members of all our communies first.
Lastly, whomever was the person on this site that says we are a telemarketing company I invite you to call either of the 2 numbers I just posted and I can assure you I will answer your questions and you will find out we are not a telemarketing company. It is "POSTS" and "RUMORS" like these that dampen the effort our officers here in ND put in. Let me also mention this. In a sadder note we lost 2 officers here in North Dakota last year. SGT Steve kenner and Deputy Brian Sleeper. BOTH of these fine men were husbands, fathers and were members of our state board. I understand the frustration we all face from Telemarketers, but it saddens me when we give out our phone numbers that instead of calling us to get thier questions answered or verifying with the State Atty Generals office that we are who we say we are, people jump on sites like this and say things that are totally unfounded. Please use the numbers I have just left to call us. Many children across our Great State  count on the programs the Officers of the NDFOP sponsor to brighten up thier holiday season, if just a little bit. As I said the Officers of the NDFOP are dedicated to making our State a SAFER and BETTER place to live.

Received call from 701 356-1266 asked for me by name.  When I confirmed who I was, they hung up.  I called number back right away and there was no answer.  DO NOT APPRECIATE THESE TYPE OF CALLS.

Called and asked for my husband.  I said he wasn't home & asked them if they wanted to leave a message.  He said no, he will just call back at another time.

No they're not collecting for "fallen police officers", they pocket the money. This is a well known SCAM, and a FILTHY SCAM at that.

I called the State Lodge number 701 320-0240 and spoke with a live person who apologized for not honoring my previous request for removal and to please give them another chance to get it right.

Since this call is indicating on my caller ID, that it's been placed from the North Dakota Fraternal Order of Police, I would think the Police Dept. would not allow this & they would do something to stop this.  Last year, a very nice guy called me & gave me his name & badge #, & said, that he's from the Fargo Police Station & is collecting donations, so their are fewer homeless in their surrounding areas.  I asked for his supervisor & he said, may I ask why.  Not thinking, I told him I wanted to confirm his name & badge #.  Before the guy in the background came on the phone, he said, what does she want.  Right away, this guy covers the mouth piece of his phone & said, she wants a supervisor to confirm my name & badge #, so right away the said to be supervisor gets on the phone & says, yes mam, he's definitely an officer of the City of Fargo Police Dept.  After they called back a few weeks later, to see why I hadn't sent my donation to them, I said, I decided not to, because I don't believe you are, who you say you are, so everyone out there, be EXTRA careful, when taking calls from those that are not family & friends...

I have been getting calls from this number up to four times a day.  Each time I answer no one on the other end, then I get a dial tone.  I'm on the do not call list.  What good is it to get on the do not call list unless it's enforced.  Of course if it's from the ND FOP why would the police do anything about enforcing the "do not call" rule.

I'm tired of all the hassles I get because I have a phone.  I think I'll get disconnected and no more stupid calls.

Who is this call acutally coming from?

This call is from a telemarketing group using the fraternal order of police as the organization to receive donations. Problem is, is that the fraternal order of police get a very small percentage for the use of their organization. Most of the money goes the telemarketers.....

This number calls me several times a day but leaves no message....very irritating!

I was busy and had to leave what I was doing to answer this unwanted call. When I picked up the receiver on the third ring they hung up. The caller ID showed "FOP" as the caller.
