What good is the DNC.?

Scam! They go by fake name of Associated Card Services. Just received their call and answered. Played along and told them I have to call them back later. They gave me the following call back number 1(877)982-7526. She told me her name was Jan and x238. BS! Even if you call back they pull a scam on you. If you call it back, it says "thank you for calling back. If you do not wish to be on our marketing list please press 1 now and allow up to 72 hours for your number to be removed."

Just received a call from this number...they did not leave a message. I am on the DNC list....this is soooooo annoying!!!

701-661-1851 - receiving unwanted sales calls from Card Services.  The call is a pre recorded message that does not allow you to be removed, you are forced to talk to a live person by pressing 1 and when they answer you are asked if you want to "take advantage of a lower rate" and you say no or remove - they hang up.

I've gotten a call every day from these people. It starts as an automated messages that makes you think its from your own credit card company, but its not. I'm on the DNC list and they won't stop calling. Tried to speak to a representative to have them remove me, and they hung up on me.

I have asked these people not to call me twice, and have been hung up on twice.  what do I do.

Someone answered the phone today when I hit #1 and said "Associated Services this is Corrine" but they hang up when you ask for their mailing address

Get calls from this # and many more trying to lower my credit card interest rate.  I keep telling them I am not interested and they hang up on me but continue to call.

I get 2 or 3 calls from this company every week.  They are rude on the phone and don't care at all about the law and do not call lists.  If you ask about it they hang up on you.  One time a person said he would add me to "their" list.  I also called the number back and pressed '1' to be added to the DNC list but they still call.  I am going to look into reporting them to the FDA.  We have laws and just need to find the right government agency to enforce them.

i have told them to put me on their do not call list and they are not listening.

They used difrent numbers with the same recording: "Congratulations. You are approved for credit card. This is final notice". It' almost a year . I am regestered on do not call list. Please stop this harassment

Called from this # multiply times, when pick up is a recording

It doesn't work.  I've done it several times.  This is a scam - they're trying to get info from you - though it appears they already have some info...... and no matter what I've done, I cannot get them to stop calling several times a day - and often from different numbers.

I pressed 1 to talk to the rep. When connected the rep. introduced himself as Brad.
I asked Brad, "Could you do me a favor and never call his number again, it is on the DNC list?". The response was "No". and the line hanged.

They just call from another # I am on the DNC list too..this time it was from 803 exchange...same thing.

Report it to the  attorney general in your state. Mine is Mass. I am going to file a complaint. Why should these people use my minutes and time. If left alone. Calls will only increase or should we say mutate.

got a call from 1-701-661-1851 and no one answered when I picked up the receiver.

Got a ring and didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number. No message left. Probably a nuisance call.

Telemarketing people to get them in a credit card program. Just call back the number and push #1 this will remove you from there list. If they call back then you have a right to call the BBB (Better Business Bureau)

I received a call from 701 661 1851.  I want this number to be placed on my "do not call" list.

they told us that they could reduce our credit cards and i stayed on the phone to talk to someone and we got into a big argument we do not have credit cards.

I've started not answering calls from area codes I know not.  Also I'm on the DNC list.  Does it mean nothing!???

Spammers from 701 area codes for credit card debt consolidation, financial services, etc.  Twice now I've connected to them so as to find out who they were.  When I get someone and tell them to take me off their list, they just hang up.  Even better, when you tell them something fairly uncomfortable in nature, they hang up faster... punks.  I swear if I get my hands on them I'd drown them like a rat in water.

Yap, got this call,too...sent 'busy' tone back, I called them back at night and got the recording to press 1 to remove my number..I am on DNC list,too..Still getting all kinds of telemarketing calls from: 701-661-1851, 281-982-2498, 803-692-1875, 603-214-9021, 978-570-2446.  All have the same female recording to press 1 to remove my number.  What kind of company is this with all different area codes??

I've managed to find out that all these numbers and different area codes come from the same place. How is that possible? It?s a little thing called MagicJack. You get to use any area code you want. Start complaining to MagicJack too. Any course of action that can add the heat to them is good. Oh and this is another layer of protection that they have since it?s another step you have to deal with to contact or find them. You can sit in Canada or anywhere in the world and do this.
