Just received called from the same number.  My first time.  Perhaps they're finally hitting West Coast numbers.  My area code is 503.

My cell phone lets me put a number on a "Reject List." If ever there was an aptly-named group of rejects, it would be these people. Hope to never get the call again.

I got it at a 503 number as well. I didn't answer, they didn't even leave a message or anything.

Rep says they are from "Warranty Services", knew what kind of car I had but did not know that I had already sold it, said that the manufacturer must be behind in their records.
Their next question: "what kind of car do you have now?"
My next response: "Click"

I saw the other post that said they made it to the west coast with area code 503, I am on the east coast area code 540.  This telemarketing crap spreads around worse than the clap!

Call and no message left to 503 AC.  My number is on the DNC list.

Called me today on my cell phone!  But when I answered, no one was on the other end.  My area code is 559.

Fake warranty center.  Asked the guy calling if he was from Dodge twice -- he kind of hemmed and hawed. Told him my vehicle wasn't worth crap.  He said "actually it's worth like $4500."  Please.  I know what my car is worth and am not going to get sucked into buying a fake warranty!!!  Not to mention the fact that I am on the Natl Do not call registry!  Called the number back to try to unsubscribe, but to do that you have to leave a msg with your phone number... but here is the catch: their voice mailbox is full!  Imagine that!

Why can't someone do something about this.

Just called me on my cell phone -- area code 541 (oregon).  My car 2003 Honda civic is registered to a different name, but the guy called and asked for me by my current name (not the one the car is registered to) and asked how many miles we had on our car.  When I told him 20,000 (on a 2003 vehicle) he hung up on me.  We bought the car used last year with 6,000 miles on it.  

SO A GOOD WAY TO GET RID OF THESE PEOPLE IS TO TELL THEM YOUR CAR HAS 10,000 OR 20,000 MILES ON IT!

Just recieved a call from the same number. They are scam auto warranty company. They just hit my phone code too, 703. Is there a way to stop them? Can somebody please help.

they will not stop calling --please make them stop --oh god make them stop please --we are even on the do not call list --these people are just prostitutes and bandits

just got called today.  they hung up before the answering machine got it.  I just used my phone to block the number.  I am also area code 503 and have an unlisted number as well.

Call from car warranty, actually answered this time and got no one on the other line.  Called back and left message demanding to be removed from calling list.

Received a call about a automobile warranty offer for a vehicle I no longer own. My husband confronted the man and told him the thought it was a gimmick. The man just said, sorry to bother you. My husband asked him if it was a scam and he said again "sorry to bother you." and hung up.  This is obviously a rip off! They have been calling my house for weeks but we were never home. Called last night at 8:57 which is too late for marketing calls.

They called twice and I called back and left message telling them not to call back again.

Totally bogus auto warranty renewal scam. I originally asked to be removed from their list, and now they no longer answer the phone when I try to speak with a rep. These people call me just about every day and they do hang up on me when I ask to be removed. Clearly they do not care they are breaking the law.

Rec'd a call, no vm from this #.  They used to call me a year ago, actually since I bought a used BMW from BMW directly.  I think BMW sold my info to these freak-a-deaks.  In the past, I've answered the call and TOLD THEM that I don't even own the car anymore but, alas, they still call.  wTH.

Rec'd call 8/22/09 1045am. Was gone for the day. Called the number tonite and woke up a girl. Wouldn't give her name. Claimed no one called my phone. Must work as a telemarker.

It was a telemarketer connected with  Auto extended warrantee Insurance.  I would like to know how they got my phone number.

got the same call last night from this 702# (Vegas area code).  I didn't answer and nobody left a message.  As posted above, this is a car warranty scam basically trying to get credit card info from you over the phone with a lot of promises made.  I got a similar call from a different Nevada area code last month.  It seems to be the popular new scheme and its so big that alot of news outlets have picked it up.  The biggest tip-off is when they start droppping the price significantly any time you hesitate or object to buying.   Beware!

I keep receiving calls different times through out each day from this number. I have not answered the call but from reading information listed on the internet regarding this number it is some sort of bogus auto warranty company offering an extended warranty on the vehicle you own. I called the number and listened to a voice mail message (sounds like its a cell phone) and it states to please leave your number and request to be removed or to leave your name and number and request to be contacted. I stated my number and asked to be removed from their call list. I will have to wait to see if its that simple to have the calls stop.
