Whenever a web site requires a phone number in order to complete a purchase, I just make up one.  You just need to make sure it's not a viable number so you're not accidentally giving out someone else's number.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number daily, in the EARLY morning, afternoon and evening - I have never answered since I do not answer calls where I do not recognize the number.  No message is ever left.  This is so annoying - I too am on the Do Not Call Registry but it doesn't seem to matter.  I bought a gift using Amazon at Christmas and put down my cell number as a contact number - ever since then I have been getting numerous robo/sales calls on my cell!!!  I will never give out my cell number like that again.

These jerks (caller ID says Opinion Poll) asked for my wife, then hung up without a word when I said she wasn't home.  Rude beyond belief.  Called at 8:30 PM Local time.

2 calls 2 days in a row; they hang up on me when I do answer; called # w/survey msg as above, then they hang up on you.  called 9:20pm tonight last call; finding way to block them; jerks!

Got the same call at 7:20PM last night. No message was left either. I am on the National Do No Call list also.

I got a call today from this number. What do they want?  I didn't pick up and no message left.

This number has been calling for the last 2 days. So when they called after 8 PM tonight, I answered and this guy was on the other end and before I gave him a chance to talk, I told him to put me on the Do Not Call list, and that it was too late to be calling. I was expecting him to get rude with me, but he didn't and said he would put me on the Do Not Call list....we'll see if he does. I am on the Do Not Call Register, so if they call again I will report them. Don't know it will do any good, but I'll give it a try.

Political Survey message.  Their automated message said (upon my calling them) "You were randomly selected for your opinion for research by political candidates...."

Got a call on Saturday, I didn't answer. However, I called them back and got a recording which said My number had been randomly chosen to take a political survey. It also said that the next time they call to tell the person calling to remove my number from their list. Today, Sunday, I answered their call by saying I am on the Do Not Call Registry and to remo......then they hung up on me!!! Just plain RUDE!!!!!

2 calls over past several days.  No one on the line.

Called three times in one day - I called the number back, and got a ridiculous recording about how it is everyone's duty to answer surveys -

I've been getting calls from this number many time a day for the last few days. I let my answering machine pick up because I don't know the number. No one ever leaves a message.  So much for the National Do-Not-Call Registry!

Received 2 calls, one @ 5:48 p.m. and the second one @ 6:06 p.m.  on August 6, 2012.  I refused to answer the phone since I did not recognize the phone number.  No messages were left.  I am also on the do not registry, but it does not prevent these bozos from calling.

I am on the Do Not Call list, but have received several calls from this number, and since they never leave a message you know they must be selling something.

Have received a call from this number 2-3x/day for the past 7 days -- never left a message.  Tonight, I answered and the male sounding caller said, "sorry, I have the wrong number."  Called the phone number back to hear a recorded message stating the purpose of their 'opinion line' and my great chance to express my voice to our leaders -- as a common man,,,,

Received a call from this number, they want to do a survey. I told them, "I do not give my opinion to anyone without being payed. They thanked me and said "have a nice day".

Have had 2 calls today...no message when not answered and one said anything when phone is answered.  Weird.

Asked for a family member by name. I stated he doesn't live here and they hung up.

Called our number looking for a family member who doesn't live at this address (and never did or has).  So we just hung up.

caller from number 702-475-8295 and asked for a family member..by name... that was interesting... has called 4 times to my number so far in past 2 hours...just silence on other end... location backtrack says Las Vegas- North Las Vegas...

They asked to talk to my husband and when I said he was not available there was not a "thank you anyway, I'll call back," or a "oh nevermind," but the line just went silent. HOW RUDE!
