If you call them back, you get a recording which offers "to remove your number, press 1 now." I did. Now it remains to be seen if they keep calling.

Hello,

I have been away for a long time. I have a caller ID and voicemail.  I was very surprised to find that there were about 30 calls displayed on my caller ID screen (all as "unknown" and at similar times on the same days of the week) and no message left in my voicemail (I have had my caller id and the voicemail checked and they work just fine). Then, I was home last week and there was this unknown call. I picked up and  I got exactly the same message:" “This is an important message regarding your automotive warranty.  We have made several attempts to reach you..."
Unlike the other people who have complained about these automated calls, my caller ID cannot identify the #. Why is that? (I wish I knew the # so as to block it, but I cannot block all unknown calls b/c I get many international calls that are not identified).  Second, does your voice mail pick up these calls?  Mine doesn't...It is puzzling.  Also because sometimes my phone rings only once at very inconvenient times like 4 am....so I wonder if it's the same automated call that just has some technical problem and rings only once.  I mean, I've got lots of these bothering calls for months.  I'm on the do-not call list.  When I am studying these calls bother me, because I get up to pick up and they are already gone.  I am not sure if it is the same people...Might it be the same "automotive warranty people" but for some reason my phone rings only once?...BTW, I've never had a car.  THANKS so much.

Received a call at the office from this number (702)-520-1161. It was an automated voice that started by saying, "If you are accepting Visa or Mastercard..." and then I hung up.

"Your final courtesy call before your vehicle is reclassified. Press 1 to speak to a warranty specialist or press 2 and your file will be deleted."  Yeah, right!  I receive at least one of these per day from 1-702-520-1161.  The last two times I pressed 1 to talked to an agent to get my number taken off the list - the line goes dead before I can complete my request!  Sure would like a "do not call" law that worked!  Once the number is identified, they should be located and prosecuted - but don't hold your breath!  I HATE telemarketers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been receiving calls offering information about a car warranty and
about lowering credit card interest rates for weeks.  Finally stopped them
by pressing 2 on the telephone.  Whew...

Do they hang up too?  Could you identify the number?
Please, read my message above, if you have a minute to spare.
I get calls that ring only once (my caller id displays "unknown") and my voicemail cannot pick them.  So, do you know for sure it's the 7025201161 number?  The "automotive warranty" recording?
thanks so much

Company called with a recording as so:

?This is an important message regarding your automotive warranty.  We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before your vehicle is reclassified. Press 1 to speak to a warranty specialist or press 2 and your file will automatically be closed.?

I pressed one and got a gentleman that inquired about my car warranty and I told them I had no idea what this was regarding. He then asked the make and model of my car and I refused to pass along that information.

I told him it was past 9pm CST (it was 21:01 CST) and asked to speak with a supervisor ASAP and he disconnected the call.

I filed a complaint with the FCC and will file with the Texas Attorney General as well.

In google and white pages searches, I show this reversed to:

I also receive "This is an important message regarding your automotive warranty.  We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before your vehicle is reclassified. Press 1 to speak to a warranty specialist or press 2 and your file will automatically be closed."
I reported them to the Texas Attorney General's Fraud Unit.

I just received an obscene phone call from this number (702-520-1161) which also showed ASOC on the caller ID. The phone company should cut this group off.

Voice message on my answering system:  ?This is an important message regarding your automotive warranty.  We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before your vehicle is reclassified. Press 1 to speak to a warranty specialist or press 2 and your file will automatically be closed.?
This is the fourth time that I have received this identical message. I received it on Jan. 2 and Jan 25 from INCORP  1-213-710-8110 and on Feb. 28 from ASSOC 1-603-214-3641 (New Hampshire)
All four times I called back and pushed 1 to be removed from their call list.
All four times when I called back I got the same identical recording: ?Thanks for calling.  If you are calling because you received a marking call from our company, you are on our customer list. To have the phone number you are calling from removed from the list press 1 now. If you are calling from a rotary phone or would like to leave a message, please wait for the beep.?  If you press zero you will hear the following poorly recorded message: ?Hey everybody, just to let you know, pass the works, this mailbox is 1234?.
I think it is strange that when I call numbers that are supposedly in Los Angles, New Hampshire and Las Vegas that I get the identical message.

ASOC Telemarketer calls incessantly from Las Vegas, Nevada auto-dailer. I called their # back anonymously (using CID block & my free LD plan). They're selling credit card processing services for small bus. as well as mortgage lending products. You can ignore these pests.

I got "Do you accept Visa........" choose option 1 to talk to someone.  Option 2 if you want to be removed for thier call list.  Well pressing #2 only puts you back in a loop to the begining of the call!!!!

After pressing the #2 about 2000 times they hung-up.

And just how do these people get away with dialing a "Do not call number"???

Called this number back and a recorded message stated that if we received a  marketing call it is because my number is on their customer list.  To be added to their do not call list leave the number after the message.
