I don't get it. If these calls are coming from somewhere, why on earth cant they be tracked down and arrested. I got the same call and told them to take me off their list. The government needs to start going after these types of crimes, take away all their assets and their shoes and let them off on the streets. No reason we should have to pay to incarerate them. We should do the same to those who create viruses that attack our computers.

My debit card number was also compromised in December and since then have gotten various calls, this being one just today.  Although I don't tend to answer the calls, instead I just pick up and hang up and then search the number online to see what it was.  I refuse to even give these people the time of day.  Reading these comments does make me wonder about that closed debit card.  These scammers are relentless!

get a call on my cell phone from that number. They told me that as a valuable master card member ending number as ######  I was going to received a gift card for $120. Somehow it is a scam and I guess that if you use the card then you'll be charge from that company each month for the rest of your life.

The business is Vista Services.  They got my card number and phone number from a purchase I made.  I had enrolled (much to my regret) in a savings program where I get calls & junk mail from all the time.  I can tell because my last name ends in "vich", but they always send/say "dich".

I asked him to take my name and number off the list and he was very nice about it.

I also get this call on my cell several times a day - no messages.

RE: "This number appears to be provided by Digitcom Services at 800-464-5446. They provide numbers to telemarketers and sometimes have this problem. They will block your number (within 24hrs) to their telemarketers if you call them and let them know what number is calling you." from ginger.

I just called this number and they do not provide telemarketing #'s. They provide calling cards and digital voice mail. Don't bother calling.

UPDATE: I called 702-520-9100 back just now - it answers by saying "Thank you for calling back, .... If you wish to be put on our do not call list, press 1" It takes 72 hrs to update. After you press 1, it says "thank you". I guess you must call from the phone that they call you on. We'll see if I still get calls 72 hrs later...

I get about 6 calls a day from this number and have never picked up.  They never leave a message.  Probably because they are scammers.  Glad to know I'm not the only one out there.

We receive a call daily from this number that appears as a cell phone in Nevada on the caller ID.  I have never answered it simply because it's not a number that I recognized.

Called by this number 5 times in last two days and they just hang up.

Fred, I have one answer to your question. I work at a bank myself, and pretty much the only way to stop them is to close your account and open a new one. Although it is a hassle, it stops the scammers from being able to take any of your money. Hope this helps

Also recieved call from this number today 3-11-09 at 240pm. Did not answer because do not know anyone with Las Vegas area code of 702.  After reading other comments, this makes me wonder.  Will keep an eye on my bank account.
P.S. Did not close any accounts recently either.

Call comes every day on my cell phone. Never leaves a message and I haven't been available when it comes. What's interesting is that I had a credit card no. skimmed in December as well and have closed the account.

Someone from this number has called me 3 times today but I have ignored it.  I did get curious who it might be because they never would let it ring more than a couple of times and it never made it to voice mail.  I actually called the number back and got a recording that if I 'no longer wanted to receive calls about their special promotion to press #1' and I would be placed on their 'do not call list'....so I pressed #1.  Hopefully that will be the end of it.

I got a call from them today. Accepted the free trial. Then canceled my debit card and had a new one immediately sent and it will arrive in 5-7 business days. The last thing I did was order a trial from a website that offered free diet pills, for my mother. Then this happened. I'll report back to let you all know if the "FREE GAS CARD" comes at all, since they can't take any money from me at all now. Harrrr Harrr Harrrr

Keep getting a call from this number, it comes up as a land line at the approximate address 217 N Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas NV which when put into google maps is the address of the Travel Inn Motel and it looks shady.  Digitcom Services is the provider of this number, their number is (310) 358-7000.  I think we should cut the snake off at the head and contact the provider.

Just got a call from the same #gaswaste.com said Iwill recive a 100 dollar gift card and gave me the last digits of my card that I had to cancell out last week,cause some one was taken money off. SCAM/SCAM/SCAM!

Caller is Vista Services. This evening was the 4th time they called me always using the last 4 digits of my debit card . I politly deny the request for their special offer, and am told to"shut up b***h". Very rude. This is harrassment, pure and simple.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I don't answer calls of numbers I don't recognize, so I decided to do a random search online.  Thank you so much for printing this information.  Think I will have my card number changed.  Very scary that people can get your phone number from the last four digits of your card.

Has anything ever been charged to anyones account? I called the # back and pressed one and their still calling, was that the right thing to do?

They had my number.. Should I cancel my account now?  They knew so much about me and my account it was scary!

Phone Number Report: Got a call on my direct line at work. They told me that as a valuable master card member ending number as ###### (the last 4 digits on my "old" debit card number), I was going to received a GAS gift card for $120. Then they said I only had to pay for shipping ($2.00) and that I would be enrolled in a program for $29.99/month unless I wanted to cancel using an 800 number.... uh yeah..SCAM ALERT!

Here's the funny part...a few weeks ago, my bank contacted me and sent me all new cards b/c there was a "breach with one of their marketing partners" and I was wondering what that meant... well, until now...

I told him, "That's funny that you say you are my card's 'marketing partner' because it is precisely that reason, that my bank contacted me and told me that there was a security breach with one of their 'marketing partners' and sent me a new card (so it no longer ends in the digits you know) and now I know that it was you!"

He said, obviously guilty and mad as hell... "and how do you know that!"

I said, "Because you guys are the only people who have called me saying you were a marketing partner!" DUH!

Its been a week and they finally called me back. (Initial complaint is on page 2 at the bottom)

Them - "Hello this is Vista Services. We would like to confirm that you received your free $50 gas card and verify that the information we have is correct so that we may get it to you. (RED FLAG! THEY KNOW IT DIDN'T GET TO ME BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T CHARGE MY ACCOUNT!!!) First, is your name *Edited?"

Me - " Why yes it is. And I actually didn't receive it yet and its been about a week, but I guess that had something to do with me canceling  my debit card. So I wont be needing the gas card and I'd like to be removed from all calling lists that I may be on, thank you."

Them - "Oh. Well ok. That is no problem. Thankyou......."

This guy sounded like a rookie because the last few people I talked to, made Motor Mouth sound like a stuttering retard with a speech impediment.

If you get a call from them, you decline their offer and ask them to be removed from any and all calling lists associated with them. They may be rude about it, but they cannot refuse you.

I've never answered the call because of the flood in scammers calling my cell phone number.  I'm work and go to school, so I put my phone on silence because of it.  So, it seems like they've got our card numbers?  It must have been leaked when I had to order a part for my dad's truck.  Amazon is the only other place that I buy stuff with my card, and I've never had any scam calls.  Thankfully I've not had any charges to my card.

This guy called my cell# several times..I finally answered.He had the last four numbers of my credit card and I was a prefered member.They had a SUPER SAVINGS DEAL to offer and it was on it's way.They needed only $2.00 for shipping.When I wase'nt interested he became very upset and some what abusive.We argued and I finally hung up. I was fired up,so I called my credit card company and asked them if they were offering a "SAVINGS DEAL" and explained to them the offer.They said they would never call a customer about a promotion,they would just send the offer in the mail.I gave the telephone number to the credit card securety department.I think I going to call the beter business buero.THIS IS CLEARLY A SCAM!!! DON'T GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION.
