I got a call early this evening.  When I answered, a recording said, "Sorry, my mistake."

My CallerID said it was Brooks Partners.  I have no idea who they are.

Received a call from Brooks Partners this afternoon. Number is not the same one as is listed here. It came as 406-478-2003. Googling the number only gave me a bunch of sites for reverse number look ups that led pretty much nowhere. Through one site I was able to find out that the call came from Sidney, MT on a cell/mobile phone. Could not get more info without buying a subscription to the service. Another site identified the number as belonging to Verizon Wireless. Not sure who it really is or what they want, but I didn't answer given that I don't answer numbers/names I don't know on the caller ID. Have not checked to see if a message was left or not; really doubting that there was.

Same name, new number 402-982-0877, Recording to let me know to push 1 to speak to an agent about getting debt free......or 2 to be removed from calling list.

I've gotten phone calls from Brooks Partners with 6 different numbers. several times I have listened to them message and gotten a live person asked them to stop and they hang up on me. I am so sick of this, I get 4 or 5 calls a day.

Several times it comes up on ID as Brooks Partners, Support Center, T.V.Plus, Winners4U, Rateme Com.

For all of you getting calls from Brooks Partners the most I found was this web site. but please do not try to contact them through their on site contact e-mail  it asks your address and phone number so you will most likely be bothered 10 fold...

This call comes from many different numbers. It starts out saying "Hi this is Scott, did you know the government.. etc etc anyways the numbers that I receive the most from this are 909-650-9190, 402-982-0532 (Brooks Partners),
206-397-1205 (Seattle WA), 866-986-9873 (800 Service), 702-520-9117 (Cell Phone)and placing yourself on a make believe do not call list through them is exactly that... make believe or BS because the calls keep coming in 3 - 4 times a day!

when i answer it says "hello, this is scott" and proceeds to talk about a debt consolidation service... i press one to talk to a "certified specialist" and when i ask to be put on the do not call list or ask to speak to a supervisor they hang up on me!and when you call back another automated service says to press 1 to be placed on the do not call list and says it takes 72 hours for it to work, which it doesn't, they call every day! other numbers that have called are NE 402 982 0532,  CA 626 207 9129, DC 202 534 3133

yes!! this company had been calling us from different numbers everyday and i keep calling back asking to be put on the do not call list and they either hang up when i actually get a person on the phone or the automated response that is supposed to place you on it is just BS! is there any way to report the BBB about them?

Same thing: "my mistake" recording. I sure wish somebody would explain what this really means.  I am very curious as to what their gimmick is here. Scamming has become big business, and conversely big business is a scam anymore.  I don't trust any calls I get.  Where are the scam police?

I work in a lawfirm and I got this call.  The lady on the other end refused to hang up and tried to convince me that my firm was in major debt.  She finally hung up and I googled the name and all I found was "SCAM!" and that the company's (fake) website.  They are located in the uk.  When I called the number back it provided me, there was an opt out program.  Whether that works is a different story. Beware! Anyone know how to file a complaint against these guys in the uk? I don't!

Received this call today.  Caller ID read Brooks Partners, 702-520-1272.  Told me to press 1 to update my Google maps advertisement.  I hung up.

I get a call from Brook Partners today. They ask if I wood like to have lower interst rates on my credit card press 1.  I paid off my accounts in full when there is a balance, so I though their might be a problem with the call.  When I question her, she hung up on me.  Thats when I started to seach out the frim.

I just got a call from them. On my voicemail was just a loud fuzz. I'm going to email abuse@pacwest.com.

I got a call from them today. I got a woman on the line and told her not to call me anymore and take me off her list, she said "Yeah, that's not gonna happen."

Something needs to be done about these people. They've been operating since 2007. That's WAY too long.

My Mom received a call today from Brooks partners but from a number of 702-520-1272, Which stated that they were a credit company to help lower your interest rate with your previous credit cardholder and they want the security code on the back of your credit card. So she hung up. People please be careful and never give anyone your information without investigating them first

I recieved a call from them and didn't answer but the message said it was a credit cleaning scam.

Got a missed call today. Called back the number and an automated message said: "If you do not want to receive further calls about our promotional products, please press 1 now". So I did, the system said "thank you" and hung up on me.

I got that number too.  I believe it be either a skip tracer, a collection agency or an autodialer verifying phone numbers as working number

they call any number - home, cell or business - they don't care - useless waste of time and business dialing numbers without result.  They are a dime a dozen - never leave a message and never give a legit reason for their calls - just like to be bothersome to anyone, anytime of day. Always remember this:  IF it's anything to be concerned with, a LEGIT company would leave a message and/or call your home number during regular business hours or reach you via regular mail.  They will always identify themselves and reason for calling right away, and NEVER ask for personal information and don't EVER give them anything either.  Too much fraud today via phone, and you don't know who these people are or their company - so if they bother you too much with their calls, report them of phone abuse - best thing you can do!!

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number.  Did not pick up and they did not leave a message.  I don't order anything from Quill either.

I received a call from (702) 554-1460 at 6:22 PM on October 9, 2007. I let the call ring through to my answering machine but no message was left. Caller ID read BROOKS PARTNERS. I am not a Quill customer (and had not even heard of the company until reading these reports)
