Both my cell and home numbers are called at the exact same time, every time. Is that even possible?

Just got called, didn't answer, and they didn't leave a voicemail.  I didn't give my number to any Vegas chics but I get dead air too when i previously answered. Haven't talked to the scammer yet. Don't really feel the need. Hope they keep wasting their time.

I received this call several times and they never leave a message.  I answered the call today and they were from Vegas and asked me if I was planning to visit Vegas in the next 12-18 months.  They were aware of my trip to Orlando recently for a time share presentation by Hilton Vacation Club.

I'm sure since I didn't buy a time-share Hilton made some money off of me and sold my number to a agency specializing in them.  I'm not sure if this is truly a scam, more likely a new time share popping in Vegas.

Same experience. They never take you off the list either. These morons just keep calling. I am going to play along next time and see what I can discover.

I too have had the same experience as the person above, except I never gave my number to anyone except the hotel and car rental place (which I suspect it was the car rental place who did it)

I was connected the first time and got the hard close.  She was a fast talker trying to get me to come back to Vegas.  When I asked how she got my # she indicated that they were a "service" that local hotels participate in to entice visitors to shows/outings in Vegas.  When I told her my trip was a turn and burn and I was no longer in the city, asked to give her number to "anyone who I might know who will be coming to Vegas in the future."

After the call I promptly dialed the hotel and car rental place and laid into the General Managers of each.  I told them that clearly there is an employee in their ranks who is selling guest's contact info to these jokers.  I am a premium member with the hotel, so they were quick to take action to make things right.  The car rental company...well that one is another matter.   The GM there was very aloof and my call didn't seem to surprise him at all.

Bottom line, I'm pissed that I've started receiving these calls.  God help the person responsible.

This number, 702.876.4815, is being CallerID-spoofed/forged by a small-time scammer operating out of Vegas. Other spoofed numbers associated with this scammer are 702.948.7558 & 702.255.1238. I know these numbers are related because as soon as one stops calling, the next one starts. If you answer you either get dead air ? or the scammer. Dead air means the scammer is using an automatic dialer but he?s busy talking to some other potential victim.

If you callback you get dead air, ?disconnected? message, or cryptic voicemail systems. Callbacks don?t matter; the scammer is just forging these CallerIDs anyway.

According to other posters, the scams vary. ScamOne: Offer for cheap vacation at a Vegas casino (some of which don?t even exist). ScamTwo: Offer of easy&cheap insurance. It all just pretexting to obtain credit card numbers, birthdays & other identity information.

I started getting calls right after I returned from a Vegas vacation. I gave my number to several attractive ladies while I was there. One of them, seeing I was dressed like money, must have sold my number to this scammer guy for $5. Thanks, sugar.

Verizon will block a number on request, no problem. Sad part is that, in two weeks, he's going to start spoofing a brand new number, and it starts all over again.

If I can ever get him to speak to me, I am going to tell him to put me on his ?Do Not SCAM? list. Then maybe he?ll realize I am not going to bite - and he?ll take my number out of the system.

No message but has called 5 times in 3 days.  I don't answer but when I call the number back it says that number has been disconnected.  I'm not sure how that could be true.
