i get 3 calls a day. I pick up it hangs up. When i call back it says number is unavailable then 5 seconds later i hear U.S.M.O

I keep getting phone calls from this number, when i call it back it says no longer working number. 703-214-9861

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit your favorite sales site.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

How can I get the no call list to block these morons from calling my cell.

I just received a call on my cell.  Did not answer but when I tried to call back, got message "this number is not in service"

   

   Medial assistance or something to do with assistance.  Hard to understand, foreign voice.

Called my cell phone, I do not answer phone numbers that do  not identity themselves.  I called them back from my office phone, I got a recording that this number is not in service . . .  sounds like a scam to me.

I got a call from this number five minutes ago. I answered it and all I got was silence. I did hear back ground people talking. I kept saying Hello...Hello...and no one responded. Very strange. So I hung up.

These guys are relentless... They go so far as to even phone me at 11 pm from many different numbers - not just "virginia at (703) 214-9861.  I am so tired of these people!  I scream at the foreign accented man to stop calling me!  I don't have any bladder issues and I am not diabetic and hang up.  It still goes on....

I have been receiving calls from these same people for almost 5 months now.  They call from all sorts of different numbers and I have blocked every single one that they have used.  They're probably up to about 20 different phone numbers now, for me. It was the indian accent guys, always the same 2 people. Once I demanded a supervisor and was told "since we arent located in America we dont have to follow American regulations" and he kept badgering me for my medical information.  I have never in my life had surgery, and when I asked "when did I have this surgery you speak of?" And he said "oa long time ago, we don't know exactly when but maybe 5-10 years ago"... I would have been a minor then.  These guys are thoroughly incompetent and do not give a crap about the "rules". I have asked and demanded to be removed from their call list, SEVERAL times. They even call from blocked and unknown phone numbers, and somehow even called me from "000-000-0000". Sorry guys, but there is no end in sight.

Just received a call, didn't answer as I have been getting lots of these types of calls lately... So much for being on the Do Not Call Registry, eh??  Just called back and a recording stated this number is not in service.

Got a call from this number - when I said hello - it was connected to another ringer.  A woman asked to speak to Jana - I said wrong number and they hung up.  

Just got a call from this number. The caller ID said Virginia so I answered  on the first ring. As soon as i picked up the phone my phone started ringing like i was calling someone. I immediately hung up.

Missed the call. And called back and a recording stated this number is not in service.

Just got call from this number. Hung up and immediately blocked this number after I called it back and got message the number had been disconnected. Caller is trying to obtain personal medical information etc.. This is scam don't answer

I got a call from this number. I picked it up on the second ring and said hello a few times only to be met with silence. Nobody answered me so I figured it was a prank call and hung up.

Why do you think WE are calling you?

This is a discussion forum where one can report or describe suspicious or unknown phone calls, but reporting them here does not stop the calling.  YOU have to take action to do that!  (google is your friend).  Consider buying a call blocker from your favorite store if nothing else works.

This just happened to me. I told the fellow I could not understand him, but he kept asking me about medical compensation. May have mentioned something about a bladder. ???? I finally just told him that I could not understand him and hung up. No idea how he obtained my cell. Annoying!

This is a scam number.  They claim to be a medical compensation company and won't stop harrassing me.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they hung up, and when I tried to call back to complain to some sort of manager I get an automated error message saying the number is out of service.  Very fishy.

This call came from a "Jeff Parker" yet he sounded like he was from India.  Spoke very broken English and an incredibly heavy accent.  He said he was from a Medical Compensation company and started asking me questions about my medical history.  I asked him 3 times to remove me from his list and he just kept on asking me more questions.  I clearly said, "I am NOT answering any questions about my medical history, please remove me from your list."  I then hung up.

Called me, didn't answer. Got be some kind of scam call.
