I don't like their practices, but you are lying. They never told you they were debt collection. They record every call to verify what happened during the call, and the operators won't just give up their job like that. They do make annoying calls, but be accurate when you describe what they did... It was recorded.

Since BEE LC. is s Charitable Organization there is actually not a "NOT CALL LIST."  On the other hand iff you say to the client calling that in the SPECIFIC WORDS: " DO NOT CALL"  Then they will put you on their system and you will no longer be contacted by them.  But you have to use those specific words like I stated. I donate to them every year and I think that they are a great organization along with other's that I donate too.  There are not a gimmick or phony company no means. I did my research when I donated the first time to BEE LC. If you are called by them it is a great organization and I personally feel that the least 10 dollar donation to out injured soldiers that are fighting and sacrificing their lives deserve the utmost attention!  I kind of went off subject, but if you do NOT want them to contact you anymore you must state the words, "DO NOT CALL." As I stated below, the national do not call list does not apply to charitable organizations.  You have to tell them directly when they call.  Hanging up or not answering will just make it worse as they will continue to call back.  Take 30 seconds to answer and directly state "put me on the DO NOT CALL list.  Simple as that.

The do not call list does not apply to charitable organizations.  The way to have yourself removed is to say "Put me on your DO NOT CALL list"  if you do not say it exactly like this they will put you as unavailable and call back again.  It's a rule, take me off your list, please remove me from your list, ect... nope.  You have to say it as I typed above.  Take it from someone who knows.

The Can Spam act has nothing to do with charity fundraising or telephone solicitation.  It is to control the assault of non-solicited pornography and pornographic marketing.  You should really check your facts before posting.  I know this company and yes, it may get annoying, but they identify themselves immediately when they call and where they are calling from, as well as who they are calling for.  As with any company that uses a computer based call system some calls may be dropped.  It isn't the reps fault who are just trying to make a living it's the company software.  Give em a break.

Getting a call ever hour from this 703-245-1667. I need it to stop!

We get calls from 571-405-5021, but no one is on the other line when we answer.  The Caller ID shows Bee LC.  Could this be the same people as 703-245-1667?

Asking them to take you off the list will remove you from further calls from that particular charities fund drive.  In order to be removed from all lists you must specificaly state " Put Me on the DO NOT Call List " this will remove you from all lists. if you wish to continue giving to a charity but do not want the phone calls ask them to list you as direct mail only.

This is a company that calls to solicit money for charities. To have your number removed from their call list, call this number - Phone: 703-761-0774 - to have them remove you from their list. You'll get a recording with a list of people's names. Speak to one of them instead of being connected to customer service. They can remove your name and number from their database while you wait. I spoke to Christine and she was very nice. Good Luck!

They call my Dad constantly, then send letters telling him that he pledged (when he didn't). He received four reminders last week alone. The back of their letter states that over 90% of contributions are used for the Fundraisers. Some funds are used to pay for 'establishing a donor base' and a portion used to settle causes of action regarding certain previous mailings. In other words, they use current fundraising to pay for lawsuits that resulted from previous fundraisings. How can we stop these rip-off artists???

Caller ID says BEE LC - no message left - they hung up before recorder would take message.

I keep receiving calls on my home work line paid by my employer. Caller id shows BEE LC.
When I do answer, there is a hangup with nobody on the line.

Yes, These calls have been many in occurrenece to our elderly aunt. She was very frightened at first but now knowing they are coming from a telemarkerter makes it somewhat less concerning. These calls are stillvery annoying and action needs to be taken to shut these types of predators down.

I get three or four calls a day from this number and there is never anyone on the line...yesterday, when I answered I got the message "all our representatives are helping other customers, please hold for next available representative...since I didn't make the call and had no desire to talk with customer representative, I hung up...so far today, I have received two calls

Get calls from 703-245-1667 2 to 3 times daily.  Since I have Caller ID I don't answer.  I'm on the DNC listing but I guess it doesn't work.  How do we stop all these calls.

Heres a few hints from an employee (sorry guys but i have to pay the bills, keep a roof over my family's head and keep food on the table so yes its an annoying job but as the phrase goes somebody's gotta do it)
1. The Do Not Call List DOES NOT APPLY TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS.
2. If you want to be removed from the list here's a few things you should know if the person calling asks for your husband/wife but you answer the phone and tell the caller to remove you from their list THE CALLER DOES NOT HAVE TO BY LAW REMOVE YOU only the person they are calling for can have their name removed from the list. If you refuse to put your wife/husband on the phone they will simply mark your number as unavailable and the calls will continue
3. It takes 24-48 hours for the system to put you on the DO NOT CALL LIST

I HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY AND AM VERY IRRITATED BY IT. THEY SAY THEY'RE A DEBT SOLUTION COMPANY; WHEN I TELL THEM I'M NOT INTERESTED, THEY ARE NICE AND SAY, "OK, SORRY. HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY WITH YOUR COMPANY." BUT.... THEY REPEATEDLY CALL SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!  SOMETIMES THEY ANSWER WHEN I PICK UP THE PHONE; SOMETIMES THEY DON'T. THIS LAST CALL WHEN I ANSWERED, THEY DIDN'T, AND I SAID, "I AM TIRED OF THESE HARRASSING CALLS! TAKE MY NAME OFF THE LIST AND DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN! (WHICH I'VE TOLD THEM BEFORE.)." IT APPEARS, BY READING THIS SITE, I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS HAD ENOUGH OF THEM!  WHERE IS THE FCC?!  MY NUMBER IS LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER FOR DO NOT CALL LIST.

We also keep getting calls from this number and we also are on the do not call registry.  They never leave a message and I never answer and don't plan to; still very annoying!!

DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!  Had 2 calls last night and 3 so far this morning (it's 10:08 am here).  Noone is ever on the line to talk to.  Have blocked the #.  Just very irritating, especially since the phone still rings 1 time before the "caller blocked" kicks in.

Got a call from these people today at 4:00 p.m.  Caller ID displayed BEE  LC.  I did a yellow pages search and it came up with the listing and a company number (540)636-8755.  They are listed as a fundraiser.  I am on DNC Register too.  FTC and FCC need to get behind these people.  Fundraisers may be exempt, but enough is enough.  Address is:  219 Chester St., Ft. Royal, VA 22630, in case anyone needs it to send correspondence to them requesting to be removed from their calling lists.  I find that putting a message on your answering unit saying that you don't accept calls from telemarketers or other callers with whom you have no business relationship with actually works.  Just let the machine deal with them.  They'll quit calling after awhile.  That is, until a new rash of them start calling, like these people.

They asked me by name.  I might have provided this number for other charity donations.  Lessons learned, do not provide a phone number for charity donations.  I've asked them to take my number off of their list.

I just called the 703-761-0774 number, the lady was very kind when I asked her to remove my number from their list.  She did ask me if I had just received a call or if I had gotten a letter.

"Missed" t his call but saw BEE LC and the phone number on caller ID; no message was left and from these posts this is clearly a telemarketer or such.  Filed complaint at donotcall.gov

I was on vacation and had 2 calls from this number on 7/26 on my caller ID but no messages.  I have no idea, were they trying a scam?

Have been receiving calls from this number for over a week. My wife finally answered the phone and a woman said "hello this is BC hold on, this is a fund raiser". My wife hung up.

My grandmother has been receiving this phone call for weeks and mostly late at night. It is scary for her and I want to know who this is so that the phone calls will stop!!!

I've been succesful using this site and others to track down the harrasing company's internal phone #s and filing complaints which seem to stop the calls. Usually it's as easy as calling the number back or researching them on the web.
But this company when calling back represents itself as a TRAVELS or TRAVELERS when I call, the woman insists that no one is calling people from 703-245-1667 and becomes quite enraged by my call. Next time I called they represented themselves as "CANCER FUND RAISING SUPPORT". I get a call everyday at 10-11 am.
My grandparents get even more.
