Just received a call from this number i didn't answer and they of course didn't leave a message.  After seeing this thread - I will not be answering this number too scams out there.

Collection company. They had the wrong number. However they called me several times before, I never picked up and they never left a voicemail.
Talked to a rude guys that said he will get my number remove from their system.

I've been getting calls from this number as well but never answered.  I got a call just now and decided to google them and found this thread.  I decided to call them back and see what happens.  A guy answered the phone and asked right away how he could help. I told him that I've received a few calls from them and to take me off their list because I didn't owe anybody any money.  He asked me my phone # and I gave it to him.

What happened next was pretty interesting.  He asked me, "so are you not,(stated my correct name)"?
When I said no he immediately said he would take me off their list.  What?

If they were legitimately collecting a debt they would have at least tried to verify any other information or certainly not give up that easily. In my opinion.....

I am now getting about one call per day from this number, with a message always saying it is "a personal business matter."

I had a similar call and incident.  They were calling trying to collect a debt to Fleet Bank that was paid 9 years ago to Bank of America who bought them out.

I recived a call from the above said number at 10:45 am central time zone. I did not answer it. Because did not answer. When i sent instint reply back it stated i could not send a text because it was a land line. Through out the day i recived 2 more calls till about 7 pm. They were 718-356-5912  and 718-452-6696. no message left. So i did not answer or call back. We will see if i get answer back.

Same here, just got call from this #. did not answer it.

Scam scam scam.  They're calling around assuming you have bad debt.  Don't give them any info - all they have is a dialer.

Just had a nasty call from them. they get rude when you ask simple questions of where are they calling from and who they are.  I got nationwide is all i got from them.  I think it is a very bad scam so watch out for them.

Someone just called from this number, glad I decided to goggle them before I even attempted to answer it.

I'm so irritated - I have relocated from the east coast to the western united states but have the same phone number still - so needless to say they have been calling me when it's an ungodly early hour here - after finally being awake enough to answer their call - they just hang up on me!  They are now blocked from disturbing me further.  Jerks!

Get a call from 703-245-1954 press one if this is me. So I hung up. Got a call right back and they asked for me, said yes then they wanted my DOB and last 4 of SS. I asked why, was told it was personal I had to give information first. I said no and the girl started to get a little nasty. I explain that if this was a collections that they need to send proof that they were hired to collect the debt. She asked for my address and I told her that if she had the correct number then she had the address. I continued to tell her that I do not do business with collections, I deal with whom I owe the debt to. She really was getting frustrated and madder than a wet hen. It was amazing what I did get out of her without giving her personal information. I answer their questions with a questions and I usually make them frustrated and they will hang up on me. What is interesting they were calling on something from Provident Bank which was bought out by M&T Bank so wouldn't M&T Bank be calling me instead. Way too much fraud going on in this world to trust a debt collector. Very Interesting.

automated message saying it was a "Personal Business Matter" asked me to press 1 or to call an 800 number.  I hung up.

An automated voice asked me to press one to verify that I was (my name).  Then an operator came on and asked me to verify my date of birth but would not tell me the reason for the call.  When I insisted on knowing the reason for the call before giving any of my personal information, she hung up!  I believe she said the call was from Nationwide Credit Corporation (?)

Have they called u back since then?

person asked for my date of birth and social and was very rude on the phone.

I got a live female she called to the first thing she asked for was my name, then my date of birth. Turned out ot be a collection agency for Fairfax radiology

My called ID show this number. Received a called from this number in different times. No message left.

Asked for my wife by name,when asked what this was about the woman said it was a apersonal business matter with this office.
