Got a call from this number on 2/18/14.  Didn't answer, no message left.  Don't live in Virginia.  I've had carpet cleaning services, in the past, but I know this is a scam.  Makes one wonder if someone were stupid or gullible enough to give their address, whether they would have any possessions left, should they venture out with the house vacated, for a time?

(703) 291-0480 i did received again five more calls from this number, I cant understand, because I just recently changed my phone number and i make it no publicly....Some one know something about it....WE must need to act and join efforts to stop this sobs, I tried it before with the DNC, but it doesn't work because they can sale your private info, that is stated in their web site....and for them is completely legal to do that.
We must need to act in different way.

"The Carpet Cleaning Company" (generic name, no hits when doing internet seach) of NO CITY, NO STATE, robo-calling claiming I was a "past customer" (NOT!).

They want to you to leave a name and number to get a "free estimate".

I suspect a scam.  Either they are selling your info to a local carpet cleaner, or they will ask for a CC number down the road.

LEGITIMATE COMPANIES DON'T ROBO-CALL LIKE THIS.   AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT HAS NO REAL NAME AND DOESN'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE.

Got a call from this number, called back using my "work phone" voice message said it's a "carpet cleaning company" very shaddy!

You are absolutely correct!!!! The DNC is the biggest joke!!! You can complain, send emails, write letters.......they do NOTHING!!! But it's the govt. What does anyone expect!!!!

Got many called no message and a few minutes later 571.152.2152 called and don't leave any message.

Got this call repeatedly and humg up before listening to the end of the message.  It says press 9 to be removed from this call back list.  Hopefully that works.

same as the other complainers, these @#&^* peoples didn't respect the privacy of the citizens. they like to sale, marketing, tracking or anything they like to do to bother you. We need to Act immediately, we must need to joint effort together.

Called today, an obviously recorded message claiming that "as a past customer" I was entitled to whatever carpet cleaning service they offered.

I am not a past customer, I am on the DNC list, and I have had my phone number for 30 years, so they are obviously trying to get around the DNC list rules by claiming I am a past customer. Their dishonesty really disgusted me.

The funding for prosecuting DNC list complaints has reportedly been gutted, so I don't really expect anything to come of complaints should I take the time.  It is maddening.

this is a carpet cleaning company as I learned from doing an on-line search.  How they obtained my number I have no clue---especially just at 9 am.  I do not like cold canvasing calls of any type.  I did some additional research on this caller and now believe the "carpet cleaning" is a front for a phishing  group.  Do not return their calls and hang up immediately.

They keep calling and I keep hanging up. Very annoying! !

Recording from "the carpet cleaning company" falsely saying I was a previous customer.  (I have no carpets.)  I had a similar call with different caller ID info a few months ago.

"The Carpet Cleaning Company" calling past customers to schedule follow-up service. We've had this number for 22 years, and have never had carpets.

Calls on my cell phone and offers carpet cleaning in various times of the day. I don?t pick it up anymore. They have my phone number for at least 3 years. So far I did not get to block this phone number.

An automated message stating that they were a "carpet cleaning service" (no name given) and wanted to know if we needed their services again. I never used a carpet cleaning service in the past and it was not even a local number. Pressed 2 to be removed from their call list. Hopefully it works.

Guess they bought a new calling list.  I didn't answer, and won't.

Left a message once claiming I had used the service.  Try again, I don't live in VA.  Bought my number or scammed it from somewhere as it's not listed.

Same exact thing happened to me today.  The DNC list is a joke.

Original call from Carpet Cleaning (703-763-4576).  Instructed to press 1 to schedule an appointment.  After pressing 1 was instructed to leave name & number.  Without leaving name and number immediately received a call from 703-291-0480 and woman wanting to schedule a free estimate.

They do not leave messages.  Called them from a blocked line.  VM discloses "You have reached the carpet cleaning company.  Leave your name and a representative will call you."  This should be reported to FTC Do Not Call.
