Multiple times in the last week or so.

These Idiots called me at 2:06 a.m. with a robot call for from some Alabama politician seeking my vote.  Needless to say this dude has the proverbial snowball's chance in Hades of getting my vote.  I plan on pursueing this further.

We were called about 3:30 with a robot political ad.  My wife was too sleepy to catch the name of the candidate or we would be calling his office to complain

Called at 3:50 AM with a Scientific Research Survey.

I got my robo-call at 2:06 a.m. from whomever is representing themselves as being with the Eric Johnston, Republican candidate for the Alabama Supreme Court.  Needless to say I was ticked off to the max.  I was unable to get back to sleep and spent the rest of the morning and most of the day trying to track down the idiots responsible for this garbage.  I even called the FCC to complain but they refused to take my complaint as it was a political matter.

Supposedly the call was some type of dirty tricks tactic by Johnston's political enemies to discredit him.  However, I will say this about Johnston and his wife, they both personally called later in the day to apologize.  Hmmmm, I think I will take this bit of information from both the candidate and his wife with be with more than a grain of salt.  Candidate Johnston will not be getting my vote!

We are on the "do not call" list.  Received a robo-call from this number at 2:34 a.m.

Received a political robo-call for Eric Johnston, running for Ala. S.Ct. Justice, at 2:34 a.m.  Eric Johnston had a TV/radio announcement this morning that stated his campaign nor anyone affiliated with his campaign made the telephone calls - states it was his opponent.  The telephone number on my caller ID is 703-348-7839.  If someone is fraudulently using your company to promote dirty politics, you should be the aggressor in pursuing claims against them with the FCC.  At this point, the fingers are being pointed at your company.

Positive update to my post above about Eric Johnston - After lodging a complaint with his office this morning, I received a call this afternoon from Mr. Johnston himself, who apologized for what happened. He explained that one of his opponents took a recording of his message and arranged for it to be sent out in the middle of the night. If this was indeed "dirty politics," I appreciate Mr. Johnston calling everyone who complained to apologize and set the record straight. It's a shame that every election season seems to bring out such juvenile tactics.

Just called to complain to Mr. Johnston about the call we received last night.  Could not have talked to a nicer man who is genuinely upset about these calls.   He did not authorize call apparently some dirty politics in Alabma from one of his political opponents who is trying to win a few votes by using underhanded tactics.  I plan to pull list of everyone who is running against him and NONE of them will get my votes.  However, Gentlemen Johnston will get my vote.  Pit of hell behavior from his opponents.

We got a call at 3:58 a.m. from this company representing a political candidate.  Was the first night in a week that my husband who is going thru chemo had finally been able to fall asleep.  Needless, to say after the call yet another sleepless night.  Wouldn't vote for this candidate if he were my brother after this type of call.

We also received a call around 3:30AM.  My wife said it was for a Republican candidate but she didn't catch the full name.  Since she thought the last name was Johnson, I appreciate the validation.

As tempting as it would be to call him at 3:30AM, I'll assume he is unaware of the practices of the company his campaign hired, but I will call them to complain.

We received this call at 3:18am last night, and want to report them for disturbing our peace!

Received a political campaign call (Eric Johnson, Alabama Supreme Court race) from this number at 3:14 a.m. May 27. Don't think I could vote for someone who doesn't have any more control over their campaign than that. Very irresponsible.

Called 2:29 am May 28, did not answer and did not leave a message.  Caller ID said no name and just the number.  Woke the whole house up.

Called at 2am and woke up my 9 year old, who was visibly upset and yelling for me (the answering machine is in her bedroom). These people need to go to jail.

They have called several times in the past week. I have not answered.

This person didn't represent himself as associated with your company but seemed rather strange, using a three letter ID that didn't mean anything to me.

The number is listed on my phone as "Arcola, VA". When calling back, it says "The person you are trying to reach is not available. Please leave a message" then beeps. Good luck tracking them and thank you for the information.

I received a call at around 3:30am on July 24 with an automated survey. The number was 703-348-7839. I called back and left a VM but no response as of yet.

President, POPULUS, 208-344-5300, paul@populus.com.  I've received complaints about an automated phone survey being conducted in the US.  POPULUS is not presently conducting any telephone-based research.  When we do, we only use live operators and companies that do adhere to the DO NOT CALL lists.  If anyone has any information about the company behind these calls please contact me.  I am EXTREMELY interested in identifying the perpetrator because they are clearly violating our trademark on the name POPULUS in the US for research purposes.

There is a research company called Populus Limited operating out of the UK.  Their contact information is information@populus.co.uk, 044-020-7253-9900.

I too called the number and the voice asking me to leave a message had a British accent.  Can someone confirm that this is or is not being conducted by the Populus Limited from the UK?

To repeat, POPULUS (www.populus.com), a US company, is NOT conducting this research.

Got a call at 12:53 a.m.  Hung up when I realized it was a survey.  Called
the number this morning and got a message they were unavailable. I am on the "do not call" list.  How do they get past this?

I also filed with the FCC online.

Called here at 4:03 AM.  No option to be taken off the call list at the end of the "survey."

I got one at 418 am.  Filed complaint with FCC.
