This is my first call, with a message stating it is my second call about my Auto Warranty...Which I know to be bogus because I don't have a car.

I just got calls from this number on both my personal and work cell phones. Whitepages.com reverse lookup shows it as Anna R. Roark in Lorton, VA.

Me, if I don't recognise the number (and especially when I don't even recognise the area code) I don't bother to answer.

I just got this call on my cell.... I googled and found that it was a number for Anna Roark.....hmmm....who the heck is that....This is a scam.  Don't answer it.  They want you to pay for a warranty on your car....a warranty that will probably never work...Just dont answer or hang up.

I get a call from this number about once a week.  I hear the same message.  Googled the number and found the same info.  I am going to look into filing a complaint with the Virginia Consumer Protection.  Maybe if enough people file complaints, they will cancel the phone number.

Maybe we should all call 866-925-1783 and waste as much time as we can with these guys... if everyone calls them maybe they will get a clue!!!

I get the same calls.  I find them rather hilarious seeing as how I am a poor college student who doesn't even own a car!  They do call quite often though, which is quite annoying.  This can't be legal.

I see these posts are from nearly 6 months back. This entire situation amazes me. Just recently about 2 weeks ago I fell for this bullsh*t auto warranty coverage. Only I didn't receive a phone call, I actually received a letter in the mail of what seemed to be a legitimate Auto Warranty company. Little did I know.

Thankfully enough, the same day that I fell for the $395 initial start up fee, then 15 payments of $150 a month after that, I realized how much of a SCAM this company has to be. All of this must have been too good to be true, offering me up to 200,000 miles of coverage for 5 years! Just a bit of research is all I really needed to realize what I've gotten myself into.

I quickly rushed a stop payment on the transaction, canceled my card, and explained to my bank what had happened. Luckily for me, they're aware of this issue, and have dealt with problems like mine in the past. CDWS promised a full reimbursement but could take up to 6 weeks. By the time 6 weeks will be up, the date will already have been passed the date of cancellation without penalty. Penalty being up to 20% of the final price anticipated ($2,600). I'm hoping they don't try and pull a fast one on me again, and if they do...I have a great Law Professor in college who's CO's an attorney general's office in my town. I will indeed give him a call and try to put an end to all of this crap and hopefully save everyone from the troubles of this SCAM company.

Telephone #'s 703-446-6063 & 215-230-9706 has been calling me on my business cell phone with a pre-recorded message that does not give me the opportunity to opt out or take the number off the call list. Everytime I talk select the option to speak to a human they hang up on me when i tell them to remove the number.

Why do I get weird numbers calling my cell phone all the time?! I thought they call your home phone? Get a life people!

It was a recorded message warning me my auto warranty was expiring. I had already searched this number while listening to the recording so I knew it was a scam.  Also, I don't own a car!  I pressed #1 to speak to a person.  I asked her directly what the name of this company was.  My answer was "Warranty Company."  Real creative.  So, I questioned "Warranty Company" and asked why they would call of I don't even own a car.  I said this is a scam and she shouldn't be making stuff up which resulted in her asking if I wanted to be removed and hanging up before I could answer because she can't defend herself!  Received several calls on my AT&T mobile from different numbers of this sort.

I get this call a couple times a week and it is a debt solution scam. It offers more information about lowering interest rates. Everytime I opt to talk to someone they hang up on me when I tell them to take me off the list. Worse yet the are calling my business phone.

OK, so I got this call today, and I pressed 1 to get to an agent. She asked for make,model,year of vehicle. I made up some answers. Then I was transfered to 'Tim' who asked for the milage. I made up a low milage number. Tim said he would try to get me a full coverage warrenty, not just the power train, but he needed to transfer me to someone else. I talked to that person for a minute of two, then was transfered back to Tim. I let him go on and on about how great the warrenty was. It was a sever year/100K mile warrenty for a really low price. After he was done, I asked him a few questions. Tim works for Consumer Direct Warrenty Services (www.cdwsnow.com) out of Redding, Ca. The claims are handled thru SafeChoise (Never herd of either one of them). Tim call back number is 1-866-925-1783. After about 20min on the phone, Tim asked if I was ready to buy. 'No' I said. He was a little peaved. Ask if I just like wasting time. I told him I didn't like being called and told my warrenty was about to expire, and then the company that answers doesn't know anything about what car or warrenty I have. He said "I did not call you". I told him that his company has hired a company that is doing the calling, and maybe they should reconsider using a company that uses such tactics. So, I fought back the only way I could, I wasted as much of his time as possible.

STRANGE CALL, GOOGLED IT AND CALLED IT BACK GOT BUSY SIGNAL. THEY CALLED ME ON MY CELL I CALLED THEM BACK ON A LANDLINE STILL NO ANSWER.

same as the rest of you , got a call , didnt answer , googled it , and found myself just like the rest of you wondering who this is. called it back on my land line and got busy signal. go figure.

They just called.  This is about the 5th time that they have called over the last 6 months telling me that this is my "2nd" warning.
I would like to sue them because I have 'pressed 2' to take my name off of the list each time they have called.  These guys really make me mad!
