Does not help Lynn - I am taking care of my mother who dementia - everytime the phone ring it upsets her - afraid she will fall when she tries to get up to answer - these people change their number all the time - DNC of no use - changing number to private does not help.  They do not offer anything I need - If I need something I will do my own research - not rely on some unknown party calling all the time.

Yea, I had WFG and Associates call from 1-714-453-1954. The little beotch told me that I needed to sign legal documents and asked if I was at home. She gave me this 1-855-221-2522 and a case number to call. I can't stand these people wasting my time. Also, she needs her a** kicked for working at a place like this. I dare you to come to my house with something for me to sign. I'll put a bullet right next to the "x".

Do you consider harassing people on the phone "do[ing] something good for this world?" Are you so ignorant that you can't understand why many people like to buy products and services after looking into it themselves, rather than having their peace and quiet invaded by a telemarketer who does not have the courtesy to scrub numbers against the federal DNC list? It'd be a riot to be on a jury and hear you mouth your statements in court.

I called and scheduled and appointment.  Once the rep was happy to have an easy sale i would hang up in the middle of prividing the address.  :)

I received a call from that number and on caller ID it appeared as Verengo but they call you and then they do not say a thing and just hang up >/ How do they get my number if I have opted out so many times !!!!

Jemstar has completed thousands of custom home upgrades here in CA. over  the last 20+ yrs.  just wondering, if you wouldnt even bother to to pay attention  to the caller long enough to find out what hes offering to you exactly, why would you bother to check them out ? You could be blowing an opportunity cause remember.. its a buyers market now.you do buy things right? Bottom line, you got an avg electricity bill of $150.oo or more per mo and you own your home you should talk to Verengo.What .. you think Edison pr DWP are beyond reproach or something? Try analyzing one of you bills.

If you don't want the phone call then don't answer it.  Just check your caller id if you don't know who it is then don't answer very simple!!

I am on a DNC list. Not everyone telemarketing does so legally. They mask their contact a lot of times (unless you outsmart them into it) and it makes it challenging to get them to stop calling.

Not all telemarketers obey the law. That is the problem. And apparently I am not the only one without a life. As you are also on here replying to my post. Have a great day Lynn!

Thanks for the warnings folks!  Telephone solicitors are terrible... come on people, how can you live with yourself bothering people for a living???  If I want to find out about a product I will seek it out.  I NEVER EVER give a moments attention to anyone who solicits me un-ivited, wether by phone, email, or snail-mail.  The calls started last week, so I've added the number to my screen-out list (on Comcast).

I do, I own a business in fact, I have a person who looks for negative information written about my store and make sure it's removed and handled immediately. But that's me... I got the phone call yesterday from a men , The caller ID is CALL CENTET  CA. I just said you call wring number and hung up the phone .

I get a call from this Verengo Co. almost every day. I just left a message for them to NEVER call my number again...

You do realize that you make absolutely no sense, right? People aren't making excuses for not wanting to buy from your company. It is JUST A COMPANY. No one has an obligation to buy what you offer, just like someone walking by a McDonald's isn't obligated to buy a big-mac or listen to the manager come out of the store and tell them about the joy of eating an extra value meal. And if a clerk ran out of Ralphs and started screaming at someone for buying milk at Albertsons, saying "We have that for 1.99! They sell it for 2.01! How dare you buy from them and not us! We're trying to help you!", people would think they were insane.

And how are people on the DNC cowards? Cowards of what? That's like saying that someone who doesn't want a company's catalog are cowards, or people who go to the bathroom during commercials.

It's like you were trained as a dept collector and didn't realize that you're now  selling a product. The whole people are liars makes absolutely no sense when talking about buying a product. What are they lying about? Not wanting your product? And yes, it is just a product. It's not the meaning of life, or the best product in the world, and other people sell the exact same thing for the same price. (And cheaper isn't always better.) The height of man's intelligence is not dependent on them buying from your company.

Another thing. It's not a personal insult if someone doesn't want to buy from you. No matter how much you think they're "being rude" for not doing what you want them to, that's not how the world works. I sure hope you don't take that attitude outside your job. "Would like a stick of gum?" "No thanks." "Who do you think you are? TAKE THE GUM!" - "Want to hear a joke?" "Not now, my break's almost over." "You will listen to my joke, you COWARD! Are you afraid of being entertained!?"

For the past three weeks I have been getting 3 to 4 calls a day to my home from Verengo 714.453.2079 this is the number that shows up on my callers ID. Tonight I sent the company a email if I receive any more calls from February 16th forward I will report this activity to the District Attorney's Office and local police station. When you call the number to report the problem the call goes to a voice message.

I was furious with this company for constant calls as well. One day I figured I would just listen to the guy and afterwards I would request to taken off of the call list. As it turns out after listening for a few minutes the guy started to make sense. This company provides Solar energy to residential homes. I ended up setting an appointment to have one of their guys come out and do a consultation.

I ended up going with them and I have been very satisfied. They cut my SCE by something like 70%! 9 times out of 10 I would never have given the call any thought but it could have been the best decision I have ever made!

I get calls all the time my # is also unlisted so I think our phone provider is selling the #'s to a telemarketing firm.  Thanks Time Warner
