who is this?

Caller only identifies himself as "Steve King" -- never leaves a company name. He also calls my cell as well as office numbers.  I called back just out of curiosity.   Asked for donation to "local police."  What a scam!  Told him to get me off his call list, but keeps calling.  They're on my do-not-call list, but clearly they've never heard of this law!

A guy who said his name is Jeff Buckley, said he was with the county, asked for the type of business, asked for the boss name, and said he needed to speak with him regarding a "friendly" matter. Asked to return his call at 703-543-5868; will not elaborate further.

Call from (703)659-9610 with voice mail from Steve king at 703-543-5868 also no message.

Received a voicemail to call "Carrol Davis" at (703) 539-0046.  I checked this number here yesterday, and saw all of the reports.  But to play along, I called and when they answered, I asked, "What company is this."  The answer I got was "What company are you calling?"  Sounds like a boiler room to me.

Call from Carol Davis and left another number 703-543-5868...no message

had a message from 703-539-0046...the number came across as FOP...said his name was Dan Baker...could I call back...nothing else.

Yup...request for donations to local police lodge.  Mike Murphy.

I just called this number back and was told it is a local police lodge and they are looking for donations.  my husband is police officer and said to NEVER fall into this trap.

From a person named Mike Harrisey.  No other content in the voicemail.  Won't bother calling back.

A guy named Mike Murphy with the county, asks for boss says its regarding a personal business question. Will not elaborate further.
