Left this bulling message that the IRS was calling for "you" (no name, no other reference) and that if I didn't return his call, he couldn't say anything but "good luck" as things "unfold badly." This fool needs to be arrested!!!! What is the government doing about these fools?

You can never tell why they are calling. If you call them back they want you to put in your number so they can call again on another line. If they are legitimate they should identify them selves at once. Telemarketing should be outlawed. It preys on the elderly and those who don't know how to use call blocking.

these people have called several times using many different numbers so if you reply and ask them to put you on the DNC list they will call you back using a different number so do not even bother.
I will also report them. I have reported them before and they quit calling but they just keep farming the numbers out. I will also report them again.
I don't know how much good it will do to call them, they will keep calling mubers via robo calling and might get you again.

This is a firm called Meyer Teleservices. To have your name removed from their list, they want you to key in your phone number. Now, you're not just a robo-call, they have much more information than before. Why are they not subject to Do Not Call?

TimeWarner sold my information to a telemarketer list and now I get upwards of 14 calls a day!

Don't ever call TimeWarner requesting prices of their cable packages, they're unscrupulous and a horrible company anyway.

This number has called at least 5 times in 2 days. When I actually answer they just hold the line. Very annoying.  I mean why keep calling if you never say anything?  Even a scam requires some communication.

They claimed to be from the DNCC, which I had asked to be taken off their call list months ago.  Not sure if it really was them or just farmed out from them.  I'm a democrat, but I won't donate to the DNCC anymore because of their pushy telephone calls.

Did not answer.  They did not leave a message.

703-594-4563 called me Janurary 9, 2013 on my unlisted number which is also on the do not call registry. They asked me to donate $100 to help President Obama with his work in the White House. The lady said there is still so much to do to get rid of the Republicans. I think it is a phishing scam, they want dummies to reveal their credit card information. I listened to the message the woman was obviously reading to me and then said "no thank you" and hung up. I hope nobody falls for this scam.

I have received 1-2 calls daily from Meyer Marketing for over a week.  I also left
a message asking to be removed from their calling list.  The "Do Not Call" List
is not working.

At least once when I called back I received a phone slam after letting them know I
had requested no more calls from them.

They are still calling constantly, no one there when you answer.  Unfortunately, the "Do Not Call" list does not apply to them because political calls are exempt from the "Do Not Call" law.

Im getting hounded by political calls up the ying yang. Politicians and whoever they hire should be sued for harressment of the poor folks when they called 8-10 a day looking for votes. Keep calling for my wife whose english is not so good but she is usually not available. I believe this number is used for a phishing scheme to attempt identity theft.

These people claim they represent some sort of women's environmental concern and keep calling for my wife every day even though she isn't available can not answer.

Get several calls a week from these people as well.

This happened to me as well, repeatedly.  I called the number back and got an automated reply to enter my telephone number if I wanted to be put on their "Do Not Call List."  I did that (although it irks me that I should have to) - we'll see if it works.

"they will be updating their records" apparently that is not a very efficient process because by now I would hope it would have taken effect.  They have been calling almost every day for the last 2 weeks.
