A presumably African-American guy *sheepishly* (probably lying) claiming his name was "Larry Jones", inlcluding other types of callers/solicitors (notice the generic name) from NCC (Nationwide Credit Corp.) called from (703) 642-7500, 7036427500, (703)642-7500, 703 642-7500, (& under a variety of different telephone numbers and regarding an unspecified "legal matter" concerning your unspecified "account".  According to other complaint websites, it's nothing but a FAKE, SCAM, FRAUDULENT business, ploy, ruse.  Need to complain to the better business bureau, Attorney General, etc. Ignore the call! Or change your telephone number.

Keep getting harassed by these people - they call several times a day and when I have called back they claim not to have my number in their database...

Who are they - anyone know? I see a Nationwide Cred (1 703 642 7500 & 703 245 1909)  on the caller ID. Enough is enough already!

No one is ever on the phone when I answer.  When I call back, they act like they never called and act rude and insulting.

Where can we go to report these people?  Why do they keep calling and then not responding?

Yes, someone called me at work from this number.  They asked to talk to me, and when I said "yes", they hung up.  The guy calling sounded very unprofessional and ghetto sounding.

They keep calling my work. When they transfer the call to me they hang up. I may lose my job over this. It has been going on for weeks. Enough.

really really annoying, they hang up and call 3 or 4 times in a rowover a half an hour

just got a call on my work CELL phone from this number...no message and i did not answer.  I do not put my work cell phone on anything so how they are calling it is beyond me.

To the idiot that wrote the crap above---no, you're wrong grasshopper---I recieve calls for five--COUNT EM five--5 different people all the time--multiple times a day. I do not have any over due debts--I would know. I am also smart enough to know the difference between junk mail and something I should look at.  You are just repeating the "Brain Washing" crap the stupid company tells you during training. I have been nice and polite and helpful-but- still the calls come--soooooo I record all incomming calls per my state Attorney General so these a******* can be prosecuted. Get another job bud !!!!

look guys i work there and if we are calling you, its probably because you owe a bill. just answer the phone we arent mean like wwe are made out to be. chances are if you owe the bill we can help you resolve it before it hits your credit report. but if your like most people and ignore the calls they will just keep coming and eventually when you do answer the reason we called you will have already reported to your credit and there will be nothing we can do to resolve that for you. and as far as mailing you something we do  most people mistake our letters for junkmail and through it away and sometimes the orginal creditor give us an incorrect or old address. just some words of advise

I have just started getting these phone calls the last couple of days. I don't think I owe anyone any money.  Aren't these people supposed to send you a bill or something?  That way, if it isn't me I can officially dispute the bill through my credit bureaus.

Ms Duffer has been calling me for 4 months - multiple calls a day from this number (703-642-7500) as well as a few different 800 numbers (including 800-481-2651).  The message is always some generic message about a "personal business matter and to call Ms Duffer".  I'm on the Do Not Call list so I couldn't figure out who it could be, but I see from this page that Ms Duffer is apparently with a collections agency.  I don't owe anyone money so I figure that my partner's ex put me on their call list to harass us - she works for a collection agency.  Isn't there anyway to stop this?!

This number is on my caller ID EVERY day when I get home from work, and I think I might have received my first voicemail from them. First of all, my name is not Bonnie and I do not owe Hartford Insurance any money! They left an 800 # to return the call with an extension though... Do I really have to call them back and tell them what's up?!?!

They're probably a collection agency. He said his name was Mr. Washington at ext. 2441. He did ask for me by name on my work number.

Multiple calls, same day, no message left.  My phone is issued to me by my employer.

A recording is left on my voice mail saying it is a "personal business matter" and to call Miss Duffer back at some number.  If it is regarding a collections matter, they are probably looking for my brother-in-law who no longer lives here, but they won't stop calling.

This Company should change there way's of business,..... after you give the the information that you are NOT Who They are Looking for they still call you........

I second Nick C. I am now recieving the calls. I've told them time and time again that my number they are calling is a business paid line. They dont listen.

The number belongs to Nationwide Credit Corporation - They are a collection agency. They are colling and looking for someone else who used to have my number.
