Have gotten calls from this number twice, but I don't answer when I don't recognize the name and will not answer if it comes up no name or private. Whoever calls can leave a message if they want to keep their name out. Who ever called from this number never left a message and alittle tired of getting calls late at night from solicitors.

They call  and I let the machine pick it up.
Last time they called I could hear what I thought was an Auction going on in the back ground.

Got a call this morning.  An abrupt woman named Felicia Houston asked for my husband and when I asked who she was and what she wanted she said she was calling about a "community project."  The caller id said Woodbridge Virginia so I told her we were not interested in community projects in Virginia.  She was very surprised to learn she was calling from there...

My listing for this number said Manassas, VA.  Ignored the call and went to voicemail. No message

Call came in at 3:50 PM "Sunday" afternoon.  Caller ID said "CWFI".  Asked for me, wife asked who was calling and was told it was a "Thank you call".  Not sure for what.  Think is a company that is hired to make calls for charities or whatever else they get paid to call for.  I am guessing "CWFI" is Childrens make a Wish Foundation Incorporated".  But am not sure.

I get this call every Saturday. I want it to stop.

Had several calls from this number on my caller ID.  I just returned the call and got a message along the likes of "Thank you for calling Donor Services Division.  Our office hours are 8am-5pm CT."  (more long message about providing services to charities and non-profits, that help missing children etc).  Note that they don't answer the phone after 5pm CT, but they DO place outgoing calls after this time (mine was at 6:45 PM PT).  Eventually the message abrubtly ended, with no opportunity to leave a message.  I'll try them back in the morning.

My answering machine picks up the sound of their motions, but they never leave a message.

Got a call tonight (10/4/09) around 7:00PM.. Didn't recognize the number... My "phone rule" is...If you don't hear a human voice within 3 seconds of answering the phone...HANG UP...  That's what I did.  Way too many "phishers"/"scammers" use an automated calling system to call numbers.  If the called party hangs on for 10-20 seconds (as long as it takes the next phisher/scammer to click on to the call), you'll be considered a "valid" number....

If this is CWFI, then they are pretty sneaky.  I received a call at 8:07 PM from caller "ID YU SRV SWF INTL" at 541-255-1056, and then again at 8:47 PM from this number where the caller ID was "Unknown Name".  We made the mistake of donating $5USD to them once, and now they call several times a week.  I also found out that the charity uses 90% of the contributions it receives for Administrative costs!  You think you are doing something good, and it comes back to bite you in the a***!

Yes I can also say that they said they were childrens wish foundation.. but, they called on my cell line.. wtf... minutes are minutes.. no money from me.. just minutes.. crazy peeps... I used to give to them too not anymore.. My philosophy on chairity is I will call them.. if I give and they dog me they are done.. Too bad..

Caller ID says CWFI.  Apparently it is some type of charitable Childrens Wish Foundation.  They have a poor rating.  Probably because they spend all of their effort on telemarketing instead of granting wishes for sick children.

Don't know if it helps but I just got a call from 703-656-9952 and the caller ID indicated "CWFI"

We got a call from this number yesterday (May 25) at 8:21pm. I let it ring through to answering machine, and no message was left.

We received a call from this phone number, which we could not identify, and they let it ring until our answering machine picked up the call and they didn't hang up until the message ended.

Call all the time, never leaves message or hangs up when I answer.
