I have been receiving calls from this number every other day for the past several weeks. Usually once in the am and then around dinnertime. If it was Washington Gas, they would obviously either followup with an email or phone call. But I have it on my "Call Block" which lets it ring one short ring and then tells them their number is blocked. It is obviously a SPAM or PHISHING expedition. With the recent Target break-ins of credit cards (fortunately I have never been to Target), I am very hesitant to give any personal information out over the phone or internet. I would advise all Americans to answer calls only from people they know---the same especially on the internet. I wish my fellow members a Blessed and Safe New Year.

Give 'em hell, Justin. These Godless devils and animals don't give up. They keep calling and calling and calling. I have made multiple complaints to the DNC, but they move slower than the snails, if at all. I have the call-blocker on 24/7.

This prick just called me stating his name was "David Jones", and he was clearly some stupid indian f***. He told me that my computer is sending "warnings and error signals" to their hub or something comparably retarded. I told him to f*** off the first call, the 2nd call I told him I know more about computers than he does, told him to f*** off, hung up. The 3rd call I laughed and hung up. The 4th call I think I just screamed at him not to call me again, and the 5th call I recorded the conversation. I asked him if he checked some log to see what errors I was sending. He said yes. I said ok, then what IP address does the log show? He said he is not authorized to see that information. So I said oh, but you're authorized to find my phone number somehow and call me at home? Then he hung up. These people are persistent little do***e bags that feed off of others' fear. They call back as much as they have to in order to bully you into thinking they are legit. QUESTION EVERYTHING - OFFER NOTHING.

This is a phony computer-generated tie-line number used by a scam, fraud telemarketer. They keep calling and calling and calling. Bunch of Godless devils up to no good. The number is VOIP issued by a communications company in Lorton, VA, which should be shut down and all of their employees locked up. The worst thing one can do is give any of these Godless devils your personal data or a credit card number, as a well-intended contribution of $10 or $15 will eventually show up as charges of hundreds or even $1000s, plus identity theft. Beware - do not fall for any of these scams and frauds. This is another example of why everyone must PLEASE write their elected reps in DC to demand strengthened DNC laws with severe dollar penalties and prison sentences. The strengthened law must include the requirement that ALL businesses and individuals must be correctly identified on Caller Id, no use of computer-generated phony numbers or tie-lines, no repeated calls, and require them to leave a message. This will give our elected reps in DC something useful to do, as opposed to holding up and trying to destroy our Constitutional form of Government, and acting like a bunch of jerks, We need call control, not gun control.

Received a call from them yesterday on our newly activated land line. We have given NO ONE that number. They said they were calling from Washington (could have been Columbia but the boyfriend said he thought it was Washington) Gas. They wanted to speak to the person that was in charge of the account, and were offering to create a payment plan to reduce rates. Neither Columbia Gas NOR Washington Gas will call customers and solicit information about payment plans. As a matter of fact you can only go on the payment (budget) plan by applying for it. These people calling from this number are SCAMMERS trying to steal your personal information. DO NOT RESPOND and REPORT them immediately.

Says from Columbia Gas and something about reducing rates. Not at all sure if it's Columbia Gas.
