On the do not call list....still getting calls from a number of telemarketers. This number and 503 468-5235. This has got to stop!

Had a call from this number but no one was there. I am on the DNC list. Why does this happen?

I too had the call on the same day. Pressed #2 as well to be removed. The DNC list doesn't seem to matter. Had one the other day who argued with me that they did not have to remove my number. Most of these calls are computer generated and it doesn't know who is on DNC. That is what we need to stop.

Recorded message begins "Do not hang up this is not a sales call. There has been a home burglary in your area..." The message provides an option to press #2 to be removed which I selected. Reported violation via National DNC.
Same call was repeated from different phone number:
