Called ID - Wal-Mart.  Left no v/m.  Will block.

Missed call.  Caller ID said Wal-Mart.  No message left.  Will block based on earlier postings.

I receive a call from this number everyday for the past week, I answer and no one picks up, I wait to hear something and nothin and then it proceeded to call our house telephone number. They have both mobile and home number. I will just block this number. Thanks for all the info about this number from you all.

Same thing. Caller ID Walmart. I told the guy I didn't understand his broken English and by law all call centers are required to have a person that has English as their first language, and I'd like to speak to that person. They hung up.
Stupid people. I am just going to start hanging up as soon as I hear an accent.

Told them REPEATEDLY to stop calling. Just got called again. Used some choice words. The lady then said, "Such a lady!" and hung up. So help me God if you call me again!

Called ID says Walmart, but keeps calling saying they are handling warranty for my car. I have asked them to stop calling and remove me from their list twice now, still calling.

they are using a spoof number, the number that shows up is not theirs

Caller ID says it's Wal mart in Monroe NC but it isn't. I called and got a recording to call between 7 - 4 PACIFIC time, but this is a 704 area code which is EASTERN time!

Called and missed...called and answered ...  hung up on me.  glad I googled it so I can block the number now that I see what it is....

Called several times over the past few days and ID said "Wal-Mart".  Since I don't shop at Wal-Mart, I didn't know why they had my number.  It's definitely some type of scam.

These jerks use WALMART as their caller ID. Yes the jerk had a thick Indian accent called about an extended car warranty. It's funny though since I have a used car now since I sold my new car. I hung up.

I received the first call yesterday, no VM and received a 2nd today and received no VM.  When I called back, it went straight to VM on their end.  reading the above comments makes sense that it's some sort of scam; I've received a couple letters informing me my warranty is expired and to re-up but the car their targeting is one that was totaled in August so will be blocking this number!

Called today 3/12/14, caller ID said "Walmart".  When I called back, I got the "our office is now closed message".  This is obviously not Walmart and is some kind of crazy scam!

I got a call from this person and I told them I was gonna report them to the BBB

I had the same issue. They had info about our car , I hung up on them. I called Walmart (as it was showing up as Walmart on caller ID), it was not a number of theirs. Then I called the Sheriff's Office to report it. The next time they called, I informed them I had called the police. I have not had any more calls from that number. But now my husband has gotten a call from 866 887 8252 on his cell. Also about our car.

Have also been receiving these calls.  Do not trust.

Number said Walmart on caller ID. Called the number back and said office is closed.

Yup, the first time when I answered he had my name and car information, heavy indian accent.

They have called me two to three times a day since, just now got another one. It's on automatic block, but the phone still rings for a few seconds before it blocks. It sends them to voicemail after that, and they do not leave any message.

If these guys were legit, they would leave a message or tell you what company they are with. Since they do neither, it has got to be some kind of scam. Getting pretty tired of seeing the number come up though.

Guy just called me with a very thick Indian accent that I could barely understand.  Said he was calling about my insurance/warranty on my car but would not answer any questions that I asked him.

Got a call from this number with the name Walmart in the caller ID...hmm why would Walmart be calling me and then everyone else is reporting that they are asking about their car. Sounds pretty fishy.

I got this call last night. Person on the phone appeared to have a very thick Indian (the country) accent, could not understand him. He had my name and year/model of my vehicle.  I asked to speak to a supervisor, I then spoke to someone that had a very easy to understand accent.  I questioned him on his company name and he avoided answering my questions.  Eventually when I told him I was not going to continue this conversation until I knew who I was talking with he just gave me his name, I said I want your Company Name at this point he hung up.

They asked for my husband and then wouldn't leave a message nor would they take down his phone number?now that I read these posts, it make sense b/c his name is on my car?guessing it is car related or warranty/ Sirius XM Related.  We got car at Car Max so maybe they sold our info!  Very Scam Sounding -

Definitely a scam.  Has called me twice in the past 24hrs.  Didn't answer the phone. Office says pacific time but areas code is east coast.  

Same happened to my husband earlier tonight. Thick accent but wrong vehicle info.

I got a call from this number from a gentleman with a thick accent inquiring about the warranty on a car my husband bought last year. The caller id number popped as Wal Mart. He did not say what comapny he was calling from

Same as Al above. Must be some dead beat looking for easy money! Not here !Not happening!

I get called from this number twice a day or so. I have never answered it. I set up auto block on this number, and it immediately hangs up on the caller. It is a scam/fake number. Dont answer it. Block it  report it.

I got a call from this number a few days back, person with a very thick accent who had my name and car info asking about how many miles I had on it for "warranty purposes" no mention of representing any kind of company. I quickly hung up. Has tried calling me several times a day now, blocked number to send straight to voicemail, but they do not leave any voicemails. I strongly suspect it is some type of scam. Vehicle is under a factory warranty and has only ever been at the dealer, and this is definitely not the dealer nor manufacturer calling.
