This number called 4/22/13 @ 1:10 p.m. I did NOT answer as I do not recognize the number. It looked suspicious. I researched the number on the web and a link to this site apparently confirms what most of you already know...that this is a bunch of crap.

I have been receiving calls 2 to 3 times daily this week from this number. I also do not answer unknown numbers calling.  They do not leave message.  I tried to call this number today and there was no answer.  I think I will answer next time they call and request they STOP calling.

Received a call from this number at 6:30 PM. Did not leave a message.

The first several times I was called, I didn't answer, but no one ever left me a message. I don't like answering phone calls when I don't recognize the number. After being annoyed with my phone constantly ringing, I went ahead and answered it. It was someone calling on behalf of my local newspaper. I had cancelled my subscription, and he wanted to know why (was it due to bad service, moving, etc.) I answered his questions and the conversation was done in 43 seconds. I also received calls from (704) 523-5872, (704) 527-8685, and (704) 523-7362. Since I answered the last call, I have received anymore, so I'm assuming these all originate with the same company.

they call multiple times a day and don't leave a message.  I don't answer phonecalls whose number I don't recognize.  I wish they'd darn wll cease and desist.  Isn't there a do-not -call list for cell phones??

Receive many calls from this number. I believe that it is Universal Circulation Marketing in North Carolina. I think that they call for NEW and RENEWAL of newspapers in your area. I have a subscription that is expiring in a few days. It would match up with the calls that I started getting a few weeks ago.

704-527-8734- universal circular - I have received a call from them.  They handle our newspaper.  Even though they are in 704 area code, I spoken spoken them them before.  They solict for newspaper and maybe other stuff too
