This is a Bell customer. I call the company and have them make investigations regarding the misuse of the number... Now can you imagine if everyone did the same? Bell Canada 310-2355...
Please bother the phone company about whom they "RENT" this number to...

Calls several times

We've recently been getting these phone calls as well.. I did reverse lookup with nothing..   I havent actually answered the phone because I dont know anyone in the 705 area code..  but they never leave messages on the answering machine..  Its getting annoying when they call 4 times a day.. How do I get them to stop??   Its from mulitple numbers all starting 705444 (6871)(1366)(2886)

They call atleast 2 times a day, i let it go to voicemail, dead silence.

Turn on your radio, pick up the phone, direct phone to radio. If you're fortunate, you'll at least get a chuckle out of it if you get the right station, commercial or host speaking. Better yet, if you have kids under the age of two, it's rather cute watching them speak to these telemarketers. I get a kick out of it every time.

Received call at 6:45 p.m.  I said hello, long pause, then male on phone asked if he could talk to mr. or mrs. XXXXXX.  I asked what he was calling about.  He said he was calling from Cranberry Resort in Collingwood.  Recognizing the name (because bf had wanted to go before reading the many bad reviews),and I had entered into their online promotion.  I asked if he was calling about our online submission.  He said no and hung up.  I thought it very suspicious for him to hang up, since I had become interested in the call.

Calls more than 3x per day, no one on the line and no message.

I looked up the reviews for Law Cranberry Resort and it's rotten.  The Better Business Bureau gave them an 'F', the Trip Advisor showed most people giving them a 1/5 or 2/5 and the rest were most likely written by the resort itself.  You can tell when a bunch of reviews start by saying, "My husband and I...", "My family and I...", or "When I see the negative reviews I became terrified..." - same pattern.  Please read some of the negative comments.  Travel Yahoo showed an average 2.5/5 after 13 reviews.  Practically everyone gave it 1/5 or 2/5.  The only person that gave it 4/5 said he liked it but will not be coming back.  Travbuddy, same thing.

They asked for mr/mrs.XXXXXX, but they did not want to leave a message whats so ever. A telemarketer for sure, but who?

They call regularly, morning, noon, or night. never leaves a message.

I getting call from this number many time.  Web serch says the number from Ontario (Sault Ste. Marie).

I got my first from this number today.  A web search says the number is from colling wood resorts.

I have been getting them from 705-444-2886 another of their numbers.  

I was tempted to pick it up and take a weekend/try it out until I saw Trip Advisor which on total seems to suggest the place is not one that I would want to go to.

pick up when it rings and hit the pound key repeatedly several times. more than likely it's a program dialer, and when you do this it screws up their system. i've done it twice to 2 separate numbers ,this one and another annoying number that called every day at exact times.

they called and did not leave a message or use the answering service, to let us know who was calling

Received a call from them today 4:15.  Answered.  They hung up. With call records like this, the CRTC should require Bell to withdraw the number from service.  But the CRTC does nothing.  Nor does Bell.  What gives?

Called the num 705.4446871 and the number no longer in service ... anybody know how to get rid of it

Repeated and unrelenting calls; because of callers like this I need to "call screen"; in addition, they are calling on a number that I have never given to anyone, so they must have bought it from Rogers.  I called it back and got "number not in service".  How can they call me, but I can't call them?

Has called three times within the last couple of hours. Hangs up on answering machine. Very annoying.

Calling without leaving a message

I get calls from this number & one similar to it EVERY day. When I try to call it back it tells me the number is no longer in service.
SUPER ANNOYING. A 705 444 7768 number calls me as well and its the same thing.

705-444-6871 When you call them back, the response is that since you have called this number, they will put you on their do not call list... me thinks, they sell your phone number to other companies so that they can call you.

recieved a call from this #, no-one on the line and no messages left when I did not answer the phone !!
