My kiddo just dialed me from this number.

On my hp tablet, there is a phone and video application as part of the included applications that came with the machine.

When I investigated things further, the call log in the program that he used, shows an outgoing call, labelled as skype, to our home phone.

The caller id on the phone stated an "Unknown Name"

I am tempted to agree, this is likely a number that Bell has assigned to VoiP calls.

This number is a rely number within the, 705 area code. I recently called a friend via skype and the caller ID came up with this number
Anyone within the area code 705 Barry, Perry Sound, Elliot Lake, Sudbury, Timmins, Sault Ste Marie, etc... it is most likly this people are being contacted by random strangers using skype to scam or get ahold of other peoples.

PS I pay for skype to contact my friends and family and this number 7056690125 is the number that they see and an ID of Unknown Name or Anonymous

got a call from this #...the caller  identified himself as "Paul". It is the Windows scam where they want you to go to a website because your computer is in trouble for some reason or another.  We hung up, then he called back from an unknown #.

I got a call from this number today, around 12:15pm or so.  I had a similar experience as R.R. - the person on the other end was an east indian man who told me that my computer might not be protected if I use Windows.  I told him that I knew someone who works with computers, so that I would have them take a look at my computer this week.  His reply was, "oh, ok, bye".

Received a call from that number, an east indian man told me he was from windows help desk and saw errors occuring on my computer. He insisted that I go on my computer  but I refused. He seemed agitated and I told him to f-off, he then told me the same. Very unprofessional.

Total scam!

I never send a report to microsoft when a program freezes or whatever.

Yea I got a call today from this number, its registered to Bell Canada...apart from that it could be an international call routed through a voip gateway or something

The call instantly went to elavator type music. When I tried to call 669-0125 there was a fast busy signal (disconnected sound)

I got a call today from this number at exactly 4 pm EST today, I said hello and they hung up.  Unknown caller i.d.

This number has been calling me for a few months and sometimes multiple times a day!  I called Bell to block the number, but they can't block numbers on cell phones apparently.  A friend told me that he thinks it may be a calling card.  All I know is that it's annoying and I want it to stop!

I recieved a phone call today from this number, the man on the line said his name was James and he was phoning from Eastlink (i remembered the name because I thought I had been speaking with a woman). He proceeded to tell me some kind of special and when I confessed I was not the person he should be speaking to he wanted to know a time when he could call back.
After I had hung up, I looked at the phone and found it odd that a bussiness would have a local phone number without an area code. I'm hoping its just somebody working from home, although 411 did not reconize the number at all. Although it could be skype I guess.

This number has called me several times.  Once, a man spoke french asking for me.  Otherwise, it's been dead air.  Today, I called the number back and it said it was not in service.  About 15 min later, my phone rang and 669-0125 was on the caller ID.

it's some type of outgoing line (doesn't accept incoming calls), definately some type of telemarketer or business.  It's a Bell Land line located in Sudbury.

Will keep on searching for info. or try *57 (call trace) to do ANI lookup if calls persist.

This number called me today at 3:20 pm, but I was unable to reach the phone. Upon dialing *69, Bell said the number was a local call to Sudbury.  Then I dialed the number locally 669-0125 and Bell said the number was not in service.  How can this be?

it's come from someone using Skype. It's an outbound phone # for Sudbury and surrounding areas.

It's twice I received a call from this #, I am in Northen Ontario.

This is a number through which people using either Skype, VOIP or iPhones are routed through to Sudbury numbers. Last night I received a call from a colleague in Southern Ontario. He gave his cell # as the return number to call, however 705-669-0125 appeared on my phone.

So this number is probably just something that allows Internet based lines to connect in with our regular phone systems.

I found this very weird but I have a sports store in Sudbury and I saw this number call and answered and it turned out to be one of my reps who lives in the East Coast, Nfld I think. I couldn't understand why it was a 669 number which is a local for us and I know that he lives out there.
It must be a call service that companies use...some good, some bad.

they called me today and told me that i won a trip from universal studios ,..... they tell you about your credit cards and everything. its a scam

who claimed he was from Calgary.

I'm from Sudbury, and the number IS local, whether or not is a proxy VOIP server is a different question.
Sounds like a scam to me.

This number has called me several times and mostly dead air or I get a phone ringing on the other end.  I call the number back and I get a busy signal.  I have no idea who it is but I wonder if it someone using my number to bounce off of so they could either make long distance calls or do something illegal on the internet and not get caught.  If this same number continues to call everyone, then why doesn't bell just discontinue that number so it can't be used anymore?

Had it call our home in August and again last night, Last night we answered & all they did was whistle then hung up.

- using various tricks to gather personal information from people who answer (free phone, survey etc.)

I have been receiving several calls from this number lately, but last night the caller was out of line, very abusive etc.  I contacted the police, and will get a call returned in a couple of days about this matter.  The number first appears  on display as unknown, and rings long distance. then the call again comes up as 669-0125 on the next calls.  Very annoying, and he was threatening, last week the caller was a woman, anyhow i hope they can put a stop to this

I am an agent from Bell Mobility.  Just to let everyone know that whoever is calling from this number is a scammer!!  They gather your personal info and commit identity theft.  I've been receiving calls all week from people who have received these calls and are waiting for phones in the mail that are never being sent.  Please keep your info private and safe and don't give it to these idiots.

I just got a call from this number and the foreigner on the other end was trying to tell me I qualified for a cell phone upgrade from Bell.  I don't even have a cell phone anymore and the last one I had was through Telus.  I ordered him to remove my name from the list and he said he will when I accept the phone.  I told him if I track him down I'll have him deported, and he told me to watch my back. And I being from Sudbury am a little scared now.
