we just got this call. offering a free "prize" for someone in the household who completed a survey. she couldn't tell me who.
they knew our address and wanted to drop the "prize" off and have us listen to them about air quality or something.
told her we weren't interested.

I have received calls from this number on my cell phone!  It showed the number but not the name so I called the number and they answered the phone "Rainbow".  I would like to know how these people are getting cell phone numbers now, they are supposed to be unlisted.

At this point, I am ready for a battle, the harassment is unbelievable. I?ve contacted my lawyer and will be contacting them shortly.

I called this number back and asked the female who answered if they had a do not call list. She replied that they did not as they were a referal agency and asked me if I had already had the presentation. I replied no and that I didn't want any further calls. She got quite rude and stated she was only trying to help me by sorting out the information. I told her that we were not involved in any presentations and that the only solicitation was from them and that I did not want any further contact from them what so ever! She did not confirm that they would or would not but got very sarcastic and wished me a good day. So we will see if they got the message...if not I will investigate whatever steps I have to take to lodge a formal complaint about their tactics.

This number has been calling my phone once a day for the past few weeks, and they have hung up every time. Never saying anything. This past time, i heard them talking on the other line and they sounded like they were 20 english speaking females from this area.

Okay so my husband this time answered the phone they asked us what time would be best to show up and we said "not at all" he then questioned them over and over and over again... I think the woman on the other end got sick of it and has taken our name off the list seeing as I haven't recieved a call since the last posting date.

I got this same call yesterday, and they did not offer me a prize. I found this call unusual, so I did a reverse look up on White Pages. It does not tell who the caller is but does show where the call came from, the call comes from Lakeshore Dr. just off Heritage Park in Barrie ON. If anything happens or a scam is taking place, at least we will know where to look.

I recieved this phone call today saying the exact thing... wondering what myself and my husband do for a living... She then goes on to explain they are a new company in town wanting to thank us and that they are sending someone over at 4pm today. ( At first i was taken aback thinking that it had something to do with our water heater but now i realize that my water heater is another well known company..) Seeing as how they will call back i plan on using a different tone then nice and polite... Im sick of these calls and plan on leading them on a wild ride.

Got a call from someone from 'Rainbow', who asked to speak to myself or my husband. She then told me she was just calling to thanks us for completing a survey, then hung up. Neither myself or my husband has ever filled out a survey!
I wonder if this is the same thing as the other 'rainbow' calls, but maybe she was put off by my English accent, so didn't offer me the 'prize'.
