I got a call ON MY CELL PHONE from this number with a prerecorded message saying they were calling from "cardmember services" with an alert.  They offering to lower my credit card rates.  They also stated "there is no problem with your account"--obviously people thought the call was a fraud alert or something like that.
I pressed "1" to tell them that it is illegal to call people on their mobile phones unsolicited with a marketing offer--you're supposed to scrub phone numbers against the mobile telephone number list before starting call campaigns, so you don't make unsolicited marketing calls to mobile numbers (where the recipient has to pay).  When I told them it was against the law and I wanted to be taken off their list, they hung up on me.  Nice.

A recorded message from "Cardmember Services" stating that I could lower my credit card rate to 6.75%. They told need to press 1 to talk to a live representative. So I did, I'm game. When she answered she asked me if I was interested in reducing my credit card interest. I told her that I was contacted about it unsolicited. She said well did you press "1"? I responded with, yes can you tell me who you represent? She said my phone was cutting out, so I said what card do you represent. And she hung up on me. That's all the info I have, felt like a scam, but that's just me.
