But it had pictures of 'Robert E. Lee' on it. I wouldn't spend it. Now seriously, these are advance fee, fake loans. They ask you to send a 'fee' (for one reason or another) to get your loan. The giveaway is they ask you to send the fee by wire transfer (Western Union, MoneyGram, GreenDot, etc.). These services are CASH. NEVER to be used, except to send money to family or friends (real ones, not the internet ones). So you send a fee? - and you get nothing. There is no loan. There is no loan company, they are foreign 3rd world criminals.

I just received a call from this number claiming to be Quick Cash Loans that my loan was on hold because I needed to go get a greendotcard to put money on there for them to take because I owed money.....umm I've never heard of Quick Cash Loans and I have never even applied for a loan.

I was called by this company offering 1000 if I got a green dot card worth180 dollars and now they claim that I would have to pay an extra 130 dollars to get my money I will get a lawyer from the veteran affairs being that I am a Disable veteran

I have received several calls from this number 707-666-8231 three times claiming I applied for a loan.  I swear these people know right when to get you, because I am struggling right now and I almost fell for the Okie Doke...I am usually right on top of this mess with the quickness.  I almost got caught up in this madeness.  I was very tempted, but the Grace of God and common sense jumped right in while i was standing at the store just about to purchase that GreenDote Card...I kept asking questions and saying to myself...don't let the stress of life cloud your judgment.  I was actually on the phone with the guy...he called while I was in the store...He just kept trying to encourage me...You will have it in 15-30 minutes right in your account just load the money and then give me a call...I will stay on the phone with you if you like.  That is what he said to me...I almost fell for it...desperate...I got to the counter and the cashier said you need cash to pay for this...And I knew then, I have got to check myself...I am glad I was able to review the comments and complete the research on this B.S...Thank you to all of you who have commented...It has helped me to calm down and re-evaluate how to deal with my life crisis...and not seek the easy route...I would have been worst off...

i had the same thing from the same number?i gave them wrong info. about me?then they said that they will wire me the 5000$ as a loan to be sent within 30 mins to my bank account only after I go and purchase a GreenDot Money Pak card and put $180 on it. well i don't have a SSN or TPN only my passport as in i'm a foreign student.. i called them back and said "hey u didn't ask me for improve of my income or anything like that..i think its a scam" he said "we don't need ur money sir,we don't give cash money only wired to ur bank account" then i asked about his location. he start asking me where are you now?i told him that i'm in OK which is wrong?he said we are in CA i was like ok  give me ur address.he said "go online to the web site" i told him ok i'm sending u someone to check on u..he never answer my call back?i thought it would be nice to share it with u guys?i hope no body get scammed?.good luck for everyone

I just received a call from this number. They "guaranteed" a $5,000 loan to be sent within 30 mins to my bank account only after I go and purchase a GreenDot Money Pak card and put $180 on it.
Then claimed my loan terms would be $360 per month for 16 months.
They also said that they were calling because I applied for a loan about 5 months ago, which I never did.
I didn't do any of this of course. I have heard of scammers before.

I was just a victim of a scam from this company that promised me a loan and they told me the check was on hold cause I owe the irs money but I called the irs and I don't owe anything and they never heard of quick cash loans I gave them a hundred and thirty dollars and I didn't get the 2,000 I feel so stupid.
