Voice recording selling health insurance.  hung up on recording.

My phone number is regisetered with the Do Not Call Registry. I received 2 phone calls from this number, one immediately after the other. I tried to call the number back to request that they remove me from their system but you are unable to call this number. When you call the number the recording says, the area code or phone number is not correct. Please check the number...

yeh same here, i received it 9 42 2day, and when i tried calling back nothing. When i tried googling this number to find out whose it was, this post showed up

Same pesky insurance sales here I immediately filed a complaint with do not call registry seeing my number has been on the list as soon as it was available to do so. I guess maybe they bouth the rights to do so from good old Rod "Everythings for sale except my toupee" Blagovich

Called my cell at 9am CST, no message.  Received a call just like this yesterday with a fakey corporation.  Best to ignore those random number / strange area code numbers and save your minutes.

I've reported several numbers like this to several sources like Do Not Call, but have not received any info back.

I've received it on my phone and my partner's phone which are both registered with Do Not Call. It now has started on my work cell phone which very few people have. I haven't picked one up but have called back and text messaged back and it tells me it's an invalid number.

Received on my cell phone, while on my work phone tried to call back to see if it was an urgent call and received a message that it was invalid.

Call came in at 12:30.  AS I did not recognize it, did not answer.

i got that number blocked on my phone and theyve never called me again. its free to do if its a telemarketer and its on ur cell phone.

Rec'd call from above number 08/15/09 as missed call.  Don't know how they got the number as it was on my wife's cell phone.

Look here clown, this is a telemarketing scam to SELL phony insurance, so it falls under the DNC restrictions. Plus these crooks call cell phones which is out-and-out illegal unless they have prior explicit permission.

Do you not read these posts or are you one of the scammers?

BTW crooks don't follow the DNC anyway, but it's still worth making the complaint in case they get caught.

The (National Do Not Call List) only applies to companies selling goods
or services, not to surveys, fundraisers, or collections. So if you don't want new gutters, windows, aluminum siding ect. your good to go. Otherwise being on the list does you no good, nor do the complaints.
During political campaigning politicians use the phones to raise money,

9:50 8/7/09 received a call, a message was left to press 2 if I wanted health insurance.

I received a call at 6pm today on my cell phone from 708-208-6454.  I did not answer because I was not familiar with this number.  No message was left.

This number called my cell at 5:46pm... I've been applying for jobs but I want to screen the calls to prepare for calling companies back... When I saw the time I figured it was not a company calling about a job (9-5)... I called back thinking it must be someone else but my cell won't connect me thru... nor will my land line.. bogus...

this number has called my business over 25 times in the last 2 days. companies like this must be shut down. as this is a huge waste of time and is very frustrating.

I got a call from the number too.  File a complaint at FCC.gov.  From what I understand it is illegal for telemarketers to call a cell phone whether on the Do Not Call Registry or not.  Takes less than 5 minutes to file a complaint.   http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
