As you can see we are not around to show you our home but all is in place to allow you move in at your own convenient time,I will be sending you the entrance keys and the duplicated copy of the house document for you to go through,If all arrangement is made promptly.I will send you a rental application form as soon as you get back to me through email.I am currently in Olmsted Twp,OH due to my job i have to move with my family.

this same thing happened to me as it did to Tiffany....a house was for rent and they used the man's name who actually owned the home and told me to send them $600 and the house would be mine.  The house is currently for sale and I found the ad on Trulia.  Do not fall for this, I am so glad I didn't send them any money!!!!

These people tried to get me to send $700 via mail in exchange for keys to a house that wasn't even for rent, the house was for sale. They stole the real listing and duplicated it with their own information. Once I called the realtor they told me they had already reported the fake ad on Trulia. They used the name Theodorah Ferguson in the email and then they called me at least three times. Very bad connection, sounded like an African man that couldn't speak English very well. The number traced to Ilinois.

Who is this from?

I agree this is a scam. I researched the house in question for rent. Same deal $600 deposit then they will mail the keys. Interestingly, they offered to send the key first so I can check out the house. The rest was the same. Bad grammar. "God-fearing" tenants wanted. What gave this away was it was in a gated community in Tom's River, NJ. I only got thru asking for the broker on the property. The house's neighbor told me that the recent owner was a 90 year old American woman who died the past month. When the scammer called again, I asked about the woman. He answered in a young foreign voice (Haitian?) that it was his wife. I told him that in this country someone meets you with a key and prepares a lease. He said he was on a mission in Texas, but he would mail the key. When it seems too good to be true....

Be careful, this is a scam. This guy was trying to rent a property in San Jose, CA. The rental posting for the following house : 5540 Dartmouth Drive, San Jose. The guy called himself Thomasa Turney.

He is of course requesting money to send you the keys by mail but his wife wants to be sure that you are a honest renter.

I have had the same experience. I got this number (708-357-4169) from an email exchange with a potential landlord for a house for rent in Atlanta, looking for a "god-fearing" family to rent his house. It's a total scam.

I was just looking for rentals in San Antonio, Tx and got and email from "Cindy" whom had decent grammar and I replied to which I got a lovely email back with words like "god fearing family" and I will mail you the keys so you can look at my home, blah, blah, blah.  At the end of the email I got the phone number (708)-357-4169.  I thought it funny cause I am from Chicago.  So I called and "Cindy" ended up being a drunk sounding Haitian asking me over and again if I liked the house and how soon I could rent it.  Then he "Cindy" then said he would send me another email soon to finalize the offer, lmao.  I have yet to get that email.  Needless to say I called the real estate agent SELLING the home on a similar site and left him a lengthy voice mail that some scammer was trying to rent the property he is selling with the contact information.

It is a scam. Both those numbers and include this one too: 201-204-3699.

This name and number id not a scam,they want to rent out my property and i can never involve my self in such thing,Please to avoid any problem nor misunderstanding i don"t want anybody to place my number as a scam which in proper.

This man has been posting fake properties online and asking for $600 to be wired to him before sending you a key. It's all fake. Went by the address and someone is living there. In association with 201-204-0056. Both are scammers.
