Calls twice a day, no one on line...

Alzheimer's from Chicago Heights, IL. This is a very sophisticated telemarketer. The call several times a day from many locations and many #'s. they manage to get through blocking services offered by Optimum. Just have to grin and bear it. They call 7 days a week. I rarely post complaints for this caller because posting daily gets boring.

As suggested, I called 800-272-3900 to have my number removed from being called by Alzheimer's.  Now they call me every day from other different numbers including 708-965-4124 and 708-965-4308 and 708-965-4589 and 951-289-4361

Alzheimers Association from Chicago Heights, IL once again thanks to the inept blocking system of Optimum.
I've gotten several hundred calls from dozens of number for Alzheimers Association. No more donations for them.

I've blocked this # through Optimum, yet they still manage to call through on it. Optimum service rep elevated my complaint to engineering. They can't seem to block this # or some others that sneak through. Way to go Optimum.
Alzheimers telemarketers have be relentless in their calling campaign. They've called from dozens of numbers and at this point I view it as nothing but pure harassment. I used to give to them regularly. Sad to say, not any more. I'm finished.

I received a call from this number on a Sunday afternoon. I amswred the ;phone and nobody said anthingh.

Come on, phoning on a Sunday?  ID for this instance says Alzheimer Alert.

I get calls from this number almost every day, including Sat and Sun.  I will block this # and wait for calls from the other #'s.  The Alzheimers Foundation is going to lose a lot of donations over this phone harassment.  Caller ID says Alzheimer's Alert.

I donated to Alzheimers last year.  I will probably not do so this year.  Since I get multiple calls per day from this number, starting from early in the morning until late in the evening.  Thank goodness for Caller ID.  If the Alzheimers Foundation sees this, I hope that they realize that donations may be decreased because of these possibly-affiliated calls.  They are nothing short of harassment.  And they make people think twice before donating.

I have received repeated calls from this number. Phone rings and nobody says anything.

Repeated calls from this number immediately following a call from nation's recovery center with a collection call for a person unknown to me. I am reporting both numbers to the FTC via their online complaint form

I received a call from this number. When I answered it, they hung up without speaking.

I've blocked a lot of Alzheimers #'s in the past, but they come up with fresh #'s. I don't answer if I don't know the # and they don't leave a message. Calls originate from Chicagohts, IL. I'm blocking all the #s.

calls almost every day! i use my home phone as a fax only now but still see the numbers on my caller id. wish i could block somehow...

No message left. One contributor mentioned Alzheimers. That may be as I have been getting a # of calls from telemarketers for Alzheimers in the last few weeks. I had blocked them all 6 months ago and all was quite, but now I see they have a new set of #'s and this nonsense will start all over again. Luckily Optimum doubled the # of blocks I'm allowed.

Just got a call from them, asked for deceased family member who passed away over 30 years ago. Man..someone should tell them to update their records! lol

Hang up call from (708) 965-4589. Listed as Chicago Heights number. Looked it up as a cell phone. I used to live in Chicago but live in Washington now so I thought I might know the person.

called once around 6:35 pm, no message.

Caller ID said "Alzheimers Alert".  While we have had a family member with Alzheimers who passed away 11 years ago, we have not had any other family members with Alzheimers.  When our answering machine picked up, they immediately dropped the call.
