Recieved text message from tmomail bank account frozen please call with 16 digit number
| GLF 2011-06-06 20:55:09 Unknown |
I received the same text message stating that my "Plus4 card is blocked". When I called the number, all I can get is that it a 24/7 banking information and they asked that I enter my 16 digit card number. What is a "Flex4 card"?

I received the same message. But since I'll always use the rule of thumb if there's something strange.. I immediately went online and found this thread. Phew.. scammers are so sneaky.

I received a text message from tmomail@tmomail.net stating that my "Flex4 card *****x is locked. Call at 7123090508!". When I attempted to call this number, it is a automated phone system that states that you will be asked for 3 different pieces of information and requests you enter your 16 digit card number. This morning, there is a recorded message from the FTC stating that the phone number has been disconnected as it is possibly involved in a scam known as phishing and is a way that scammers use to steal identities.
