An in-law received a phone call and similiar language was used by the person on the phone.  It sounded threatening. No one has given the name of the company that called though?  Did anyone get a name?  We know what they are saying but what was the name of the company?  Did they say or did anyone actually call the number and find out?

I received a call.at my moms house telling my mom something about a warrant for my.arrest and that a lawyer was filing a grevience against me and that I needed to.call asap.so I'm in.treatment in fort.dodge Iowa where I live and my mom called me.gave me information and I.called and the    man answering the phone.gave me a bs story that I took a payday advance loan out for the amount of $2088.00 on April 29,2007 at 4:31pm but that o could settle outside of court for the amount of $535.23 and wanted to know how close I was to that amount
. I hung up and they called back and so I said when the Webster county sheriffs department served me with papers then I would see them.in court and.not to call me again and that I'd they did I would contact police in fort dodge

They called and told we I would be served papers because someone had filed a formal complaint against me. I called the Polk County clerk There is nothing with my name. They are giving out fake docket numbers to scare people. They have been calling me from unknown and even my own number somehow. THIS IS A SCAM!!

I got same call about a old credit card in 98 i am not calling back anymore and is there someone to call to turn this into?

I have the same problem, i called my local sherrifs office to today and nothing

They keep calling me to demanded money by this week on a debit card.

They have been calling me since November 2013 and still have not showed up.  I also called my local police department and they ran my name. The officer told me that have no warrants or legal actions against me and that the people who are calling is a scam. Wanted me to call 888-550-9810 to resolve.

Did they ever show up with papers for you to sign? They called me this am and said they were from wright county. I called the number and they r saying I owe an astronomical amount of money for a credit card from 2004.

Did they ever show up to serve you these papers? They called me too.

Got a call from this number and they left a message saying that they are from Muscatine County Sherriff and that they will serve me with a court documents.

Says they are from Polk County and have a complaint with a file number....they are acting like they are from Polk County Sherriff when really they are trying to collect a credit card balance.
