I think they were trying to say "Lompoc"... anyway, you only needed to post once, unless you had a computer problem.

I figured that this was a prank..they called me at 12 pm here in the the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles telling me I've had a warrant for 2 years and that Marshalls will pick me up tomorrow to serve 3 years in 'Long Poke, CA'.... The interesting part is that my cellphone said private number but that it originated from right here in VAn Nuys (my phone has the ability to pinpoint at least the areas of blocked numbers). What kinda scared me is that I used to do a great deal of drugs and, thus inevitably, picked up several drug charges over the years, all of which have been dismissed due to my completion of several programs. I was a little scared that maybe there was a warrant somewhere for the many times I stole from my roommates to support my insidious habits. But I'm relieved to hear that this is BS

Scam. They will hit you up to wire them money to the Dominican Repube-lick. Rather convincing, (especially the East Coast accent) to those of us who despise the federal goobermint and the Holder Justice Dept.

My attorney called them and they said he was just after my money and if I didn't call them back the "Wisconsin Police" would be at my house in 20 minutes. That was three weeks ago...

Yeah, it must be the drug company... thought i got rid of them.  this was an officer Dean Zimmerman from the DEA district 95 or david zimmerman.  heavy new york accent or possible a fake.  said my home was going to be seized and a warrant issued for my arrest if i didnt call back immediately.  i did call and got an answering machine.  Looked this number up on another site and it is a cell number located in houston.   my guess is it's a fake. If they call again I'll say I have a lawyer.

Yep, now they're on Illinois.....got the call from DEA Officer David Zimmerman, Dist. 95.  Scared the bejesus out of me at first and I returned the call.  I got a lame horribly sounding answering machine and hung up.  When I got back to work I like all of you googled the number and low and behold have been reading some entertaining posts!

So when they called me back, (I guess they have caller ID) they wanted to know who I wanted to talked to, I said "nobody".  He said, well you called and left a message, I said nope.  Well you called he said and I just laughed and said, "you guys really should Google you phone number, you're not going to be making much money off of unsuspecting people anymore".

He said an officer would be at my house (literally gave me my own address....kinda scarey) in about 30 minutes and I just laughed and asked if they needed directions!

Prank Call
I received these same messages from Christopher Randolf.  Blocked the number.
This is a total scam, as all of you have said.

The last time I got one of these calls, I asked who the Judge was who signed the warrant and asked that they forrward it to my attorney.  (fyi - only local judges can sign warrants for your jurisdiction, and they don't give you an advance warning)

I know the calls are scary.  Fear not, block them, hang up on them, or laugh at them.

Person falsely identified themselves as Brian Zimmerson from the DEA office in Houston, TX.   He spoke very harshly and threatening, indicating immediate arrest at home or work due to illegally ordering drugs online (which I have never done).

I found out this is a total scam and is on the DEA.gov website itself. The report number to call and provide information to is 1-877-792-2873. You don't have to leave any personal information if you don't want to.

I also just recieved a phone call from David Zimmerman, he gave a supervisor name of Allen Shine, Chief Inspector when  I asked who he reported to. He also said I could pay $1k to $10k in fines and all I had to do was pay 15% of the fine and $50/month to make this go away. He said it was called a CPL Payment plan. He basically had me freaked out of my mind and shaking uncontrollably until I started pushing back. He even threatened to send officers to my address, I told him to go ahead. He had an old address dating back more than 7 years, yet tried to tell me I purchased 5 years ago?! the number he called from was 713-261-1203. Seems like David is a busy man today. The address they gave me when I asked for one was, 900 JFK Boulevard, Houston, TX and when I asked for the zip code he hung up on me.

just received a call from this number, officer david zimmerman.  Right now I am sitting here waiting at my place of work for them to come and pick me up and arrest me.  (oh yeah, btw, I WORK for the federal government.)  When he said I could put all of this behind me (3 felony charges) and pay 1800 for a green dot card that would be fed ex'd to me, i told him i would contact my own lawyer.  He said officers were coming to pick me up right now..........  I'll let you know when they get here.......

I received the same call (voicemail) from DEA Officer Christopher Randall.  At first I believed him as I did order medication online a few years back.  His message said there was a warrant out for my arrest and a warrant to search my house (nice of him to let me know in advance in case I wanted to skip town or destroy any evidence :-) )  So he must work for the company or have a list of their customers.

I did call him back finally and was waiting for him to ask for me to send money.  However, I couldn't wait for him to ask so I told him I was ready to turn myself in and asked where the DEA office was (I had already looked online for the DEA office address in Houston.)  He said, "'We'll come to you."  I said, "Okay, do you need directions?"  He hung up and I have not heard from him again.

Prank Call
I got the same phone call...  I had a message on my answering machine last night when I got home.  Although it was late, I called back and left a return message with my cell phone number on it since that's the one that I use the most (I should've known better).  "Christopher Randall" made it sound like an urgent matter, and I didn't want to stand in the way of a federal DEA investigation, right?!  Afterward I decided to look up the phone number on Google and found this string of comments and the suggestions that you all offered up (THANK YOU!!).  When he called me back on my cell phone this morning, the same guy introduced himself as David Zimmerman (different name, but same district and other "identifiers"), and I let him do the talking to see if he could keep any other details straight.  Although I knew it was a scam, I still felt a little intimidated (he knew A LOT of details about me!), and I finally told him that I spoke to my lawyer about the call, and my lawyer instructed me to tape the conversation.  I told him that I was legally obligated to notify him that he was being recorded, to which he said, "That's fine, maam, but I just want to let you know that federal marshalls are on their way to arrest you for felony charges."  I said, "Okay," and he was silent for a few seconds before hanging up.  I think he was waiting for me to beg and plead so that I wouldn't get "arrested"--LOL!  Thanks to everyone for all of the details so that I knew how to handle this call without being "sucked in" on the scam.  I'm in the process of notifying other family members so that they know too.

Prank Call
Caller said he was officer Christopher Randall from DEA headquarters , said to call him back at said number,  ext. 212, that he had warrants for my arrest, and search warrants for my property regarding ongoing criminal investigation of illegal internet and telephone pharmaceutical ordering, and to call him back ASAP.  Call originated in Houston, TX (don't think DEA HQ's there), and I'm in MN.   Not having a clue what he was chattering about, it did upset me, I didn't think one would be forewarned about warrants, and that there would be agents here in MN doing the "investigation" and not 2000 miles away.  He  comes across as intimidating, threatening and I think this predatory douche-bag needs a visit by law officers in his neck of the woods.

Same thing happened to me this morning.  Of course it didn't make any sense (getting an advance warning of 3 felony charges and an impending arrest at my "place of work" in 10 to 15 minutes -- please!) but it did shake me up.  The guy hung up at the mention of a lawyer.
