I got a call from 713-496-3809 did not say anything when I answered.  Sick and tied of these people calling my cell phone all day.  Cannot keep the ringer on at work because they are always calling.  There should be a law against bill collectors calling individuals who have never had a debt with them.  I do not use credit cards or owe anyone for anything, I am old school I pay for everything with cash.  If I cannot afford it I do not buy it.  I am still wearing my clothes from 1982.  I live in a mobile home that I paid for in 1999 with cash and I am driving a 1987 Ford Crown Victoria.  Stop calling me.

I just gotta a call  from this number, I googled it and I find all these bloggers..her name was chris croix with a British accent. I asked what did she want and she would not say, the call disconnected I called back. I asked her again who was she for and the company she is with, she simply kept asking who was I so I hung up. I have been scammed before to pay an bill because I knew of the debt but didn't have the funds to pay in full. So like many I didn't want anymore bad debt on me so I set up payment arrangements with them. I paid the debt , they were going to send verification it was paid .They never did.I got some email saying debts been paid that was it. The phn calls have stopped but I will never pay anything again without having them send me what they claim I owe. But I don't be doing that again. I'm just trying to better my credit for my future.

Someone who did not speak very good English called me from (713) 496-3806, they had the right name, but I was like Who since they sounded suspicious,  then I said they had the wrong number. My cell is not even in my name and I have not applied for anything, one old debt I know of back in mid-90s. So, I don't know how they got my number. Anyway, They haven't call back, possibly since I did not instigate as to who they are. Nonetheless, I'm going to block their # anyway, and add them to the Do Not Call solicit list on .gov. It's not safe these days to give you information over the phone or validate it. Too much identify theft these days, no tell what info you will validate Yes to.

I don't press anything for a recording.  I hung up.   They have wrong number but that is their problem.  I have and never will respond to a recording and press anything.   Waste of time.   read other posts very helpful.  Thanks to all that post.

I got a call for this number 713-496-3809. I called back and some man answered got rude and yelled. I told him to take me off his list he had wrong number! He then said... "I'll whip out my big dick and slap you with it!" ... Wow!! I hung up.

This number calls my phone at least four or five times a day. I know they have the wrong number but they don't seem to understand that fact. I told them "sorry you have the wrong number and person" then the woman barks at me to verify my name address and last four of ss#!!! They must be desperate and crazy as hell!

They keep calling and asking for a Tiffany. They call every 3 hours or so. Blocked the number. Sounds like a collection agency

713-496-3809 will try to validate you and your address in order to initiate a law suite over old debts that were sold to them cheap with agreement to split a percentage on any money recovered. It costs money to file in court and have someone served, so they will not share any information with you until they verify you and your address (knowing it is human nature to comply when they act like they have a secret..who wouldn't want to know why they have your name and address). If they actually wanted to settle a debt for a reasonable amount over what they paid, then we wouldn't need websites like this to warn others. If they do confirm you and fail to convince you to pay, make sure you file a response to discovery order (issued by the judge) or they will get an automatic judgement against you even if you show up in court. I made the mistake and gave out my information even though it was my ex-husbands debt and then served. I answered the discovery order and hand delivered it to the court within time, so they dropped the case because of the cost it would require to pay an attorney to continue with a trial (more so if you request a jury trial that will take at least a half day in court (unless the amount they claim you owe is over 10k, then it is probably worth pursuing in court).  I am not qualified to give legal advice and urge anyone dealing with this company to seek the advice of an attorney if you are sued for an old debt by this company... but all they need is for you to confirm your address over the phone in order to initiate a lawsuit and have you served. But you may feel better about yourself and your future if you pay off valid debts instead of hiding from them, but I know for a fact collectors do care if the debt is valid or not since everyone they contact tells them the debt is not valid..but sometimes they are wrong and there is no reasoning with them because someone willing to reason is the type of person they know will eventually paid if threatened and harassed enough.

GOT A CALL FROM A VERY RUDE MAN FROM THIS NUMBER 713-496-3806.  HE ASKED ME BY MY MAIDEN NAME (WHICH NO ONE CALLS ME BY THAT NAME ANY LONGER) AND ASKED ME TO VERIFY LAST 4 OF MY SOCIAL.  I TOLD HIM HELL NO, I WOULDNT VERIFY ANYTHING WITH HIM.  WHEN HE TRIED TO TALK OVER ME, I HUNG UP ON HIM AND THEN BLOCKED THE NUMBER FROM CALLING ME.

I only verified my address and told them that I would NOT give my social security # nor discuss anything over the phone.  Everything would have to be sent to me in writing.  She kept trying to say that she could disclose information since I had verified.  I told her no I would not discuss anything and that I do not make payment arrangements over the phone.  She would not be getting any money from me until I had read what she thinks could be mine.  I'll let you know if they actually send me anything via the mail.

got an auto voice calll...name on auto voice KELLY SMITH pressed 1 for name they asked for...real woman comes on after being on hold...asks if I'm .. .... .... told her I pressed 1...then she asks for my home address to which I tell her that she's calling me so she should have all info  on me and that I wasn't going to volunteer  me across this posting...same # and name.....these types calls need to be made "illegal" and fined for their
"scare tactics" and putting fear in the lifes of "those who are not savvy" to reporting these companies to the FTC, BBB and Atty General of the State these companies. I for one am making my complaints too all and plan to find out which other places I can make my complaints.
I also called this #, spoke with"Marsha Delarm", in the AZ location, said the corporate office is in RENTON, WA. and their # is 800-444-8485...the company name is CONVERSION OUTREACHING and they deal in "personal business matters". I told her I was putting a complaint against their company and according to FTC rules " if we call the soliticing# and tell them to REMOVE our # from their calling list, they are to comply with the request", to which I gave her the# and she said it has been removed ." She said she was just doing her job and I told that I was just doing my job as a daughter and protecting my mother's rights.

I told her that I would mention her name & how she was helpful, but that I was still filing against the company she works for.
