Was called by Richard Scott, he was very nasty. I was pretty certain that he was not legitimate when he theatened to take my home. I told him to go ahead since I owed more then it was currently worth anyway. He really got irate! I remebered seeing something similar on TV so decided to google Richard Scott at CRA. Very interesting info. Scott called from 310-356-6156.(I do not have caller ID but this is the number he gave me when I asked for a number.) When I called him back he told me to never call him again. I am so gald the internet is available for this sort of research.

I was called by a Mrs. Jenkins from CRA she gave me 24 hours to set up payment or she was going to get the IRS to send me a 1099C. This debit was suppose to be from 2001. After researching this, come to find out I didn't owe it and my FDCPA rights were voilated because the Claim and Statute of limitations in VA was passed (3 Years). When I tried to get the mailing address to mail the appropriate paper work to dispute the claim. I was hung up on over 8 times when I finally got a mailing address I asked the person why the address was in VA Beach and caller ID said the phone call was from Beverly Hills, CA I was once again hung up on. I googled the address and found this web page. I see that I'm not the only person this CRA company tried to BULLY. SHAME on them and the people who knowingly work for dishonest people like that.

Threatening and demanding debt collector.  This guy was such a dumb a**.  Called numerous times talking down to my wife, which by the way was a victim of identity theft.  It made her really upset, which is there job to do.  The next time he called I answered and he started with me.  I cut him off and put him in his place real fast.  Of course he hung up when some one stood up to him.  It’s like they take advantage of people who don’t stand up.  I can’t wait for him to call back and I can answer, he’s a dead man!!!!!!!!!!

This person called asking for someone else and said they were conducting an "investigation".  I work for a consumer law firm.  When she began asking me about my cell phone and how long I had it, I told her flat out it was none of her business and do not call my number again.  She called back six time just because she could.  Final call, I answered "Texas Attorney General's Office", please note that we have caller ID and have noted your number in our daily log.  Now, how may I help you?  No more calls - go figure!

Willa Mason is the name she used when she left a message on my answering machine for a name I haven't used in over 23 years (acting like she knew me).  Regarding a statement that has arrived on her desk.  Her return number she gave was 866-946-1358 x48339 for me to call or my representative.  The company name Willa gave was CRA and my caller ID picked up 713-518-1966.  Willa you can't squeeze blood out of a turnup especially one being upside down in equity.

I too received a call this morning......same things as were said above, a woman called saying she was from some legal department and left her number on my answering machine, when I answered the call back, they just refuse to tell which company they are working for???....

I received a call from this number around 11:55 in the morning.  This caller left a message on my answering stating that I needed to contact them right away and this was a serious matter.  When I called the number back a woman answered and then a man answered, but I had asked to speak with Willie Mason and I gave her extension. He continued to stay on the phone.  He brought my information about a credit card and he wanted to know how was I going to pay it.  He started asking me about my address. Then he started saying that I needed to pay back $4,000 on the card and I haven't paid it back. Next he stated that I have a J.C. Penny's card and a Visa Card that I purchased in January with a certain amount have been used on it. Third he asked how was I going to pay for it. I'm thinking pay for what you didn't say what you were calling for.  I have always known when a business calls for you, they always stick to that subject such as one type of card that they are calling for. Well, anyway he kept asking how was I going to pay the debt. This man said if I don't pay the debt, the I.R.S. will take it out of my income tax.  I kept telling him that I am not employed at this time.  He became so angry and said that he will see me in court and hung up.  All I know is when this woman called my number,  she did not introduce herself as an legal secretary or anyone that works as an attorney or at an attorney's office. I was in a Business Communication classed, and I do remember that much.  Oh! and another thing,  these people did not accept a blocked call from my number.  I haven't heard of businesses having caller I.D.

These people called me saying that they got my home phone number from my brother-in-law, and that he gave it to them as a contact number.  My brother in law as no idea what my home phone # is.  We only call each other on cell phones.  When I asked who they worked for they would not tell me.  They said they were with a legal department and when I asked which company they represented she hung up.  I immediately called back and a man claiming to be Mr. Adair answered and still would not tell me anything.  Now they aren't even brave enough to answer they just click the phone on and off.  BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM ANY REAL COMPANY WILL TELL YOU WHO THEY REPRESENT IF IT IS A LEGIT COMPANY IT IS THE LAW.

Nice try troll.  This sounds like GC Services in Houston.  They're lowlifes and scammers.  They're only sleazy debt collectors - NOT LAWYERS - and they won't do anything except threaten because they can't validate any of their claims, despite what one of their employees posted above.

Check out www.budhibbs.com for complaints made against them.  They consistently violate FCRA and FDCPA.  Ignore them, block them, but don't ever give them financial information or deal with them.

Got a call from this number, said she wanted to speak to xxx. Told her not here. She wanted to leave her name and number, asked her what it was about, she said it was about a tax filing. Said had contacted the IRS. Wouldn't tell me who she was with but after 30 seconds of bantering back and forth she said fine, I will just "send this thru". I said I will be happy to take the name and number down but I demanded to know who this was since she was calling about my wife and she could deal with me. She finally got frustrated and hung up. It was a debt collector.

Got a call on my cell phone from a lady insisting to speak to me and my "registered" attorney.  She left a voicemail so I don't know what this pertains to and she didn't say what company it's for...only that it will only take 5 minutes of mine and my attorney's time to speak with her.

Call came in around noon EST and answering machine picked up.  Woman asked to speak to my ex-wife of 17+ years.  She requested that my ex's lawyer contact her right away.  When asked who she represented, she hung up.

The name was Nellie or Willie Mason.
