But this actual company is in MA not NJ and Paterson is no where on their roster.  And even though the craigs ad says the pay is $13.85/hr - $17.85/hr, 40 hours per week. Mr. Peterson says it's $19 an hour and 5 hour max per week.  He can't even keep his ads straight.

Thanks for the heads up on this one.  Just remember if it's too good to be true-it isn't true.

My sister-in-law got the same reply from on the SF Craigslist posting.

According to WhoIs.com, the domain "envisons-tech.com" (the email address of the sender) lists a UPS postal box as it's contact address. But Mr McDanel uses a VA address. Go figure.

I responded to an ad on Craigslist for an office assistant position. I sent my resume and a couple of days later I received a reply with some questions to answer stating that I was being considered for the job. I sent that email and then received another email telling me about receiving equipment such as laptop computer, printer etc. and that I would be receiving funds to purchase software for the training portion of the job. This seemed very odd to me. I typed in the name of the person that signed the email and low and behold I was sent to this website where the descriptions mirror very much the offer that I have received. I have yet to receive any phone call but will update this post if I do. I am placing this post in the event that others respond to this same ad. These people are such do***e bags to try and take advantage of people just trying to make an honest living.

I also recently received a job offer from VODA Group Companies. Anybody run into them?

I've had the same experience, and I'm so glad I started checking online as the BBB did not have anything when I searched for the email address from Mr. Malach.  I, too, did find something for Accu Tech Data Inc., but was waiting to get the Fedex package to see if I could find anything else out about the company.  There were actually 3 job opportunities on CraigsList that came back with virtually the same wording, just from different people/companies.

One was from Mr. David Malach, Accu Tech Data Inc.
Another from Michael Granger, Tech Computers Inc. (openoffice@vodagroups.com)
The third was from Dennis Vossen, Sifas Wireless Inc. (hr@sifaswireless.com)

All 3 "companies" have the same problem with poor grammar/spelling, which made me suspicious to begin with.  When the emails were worded virtually the same way, I started searching online, and I'm sure glad I did.  I wish I could help others avoid the scams.

Went through 3 Q & A emails and then was told a check was being Fedex to me. I tracked the number today and there is a package coming my way. But after reading all the post about this bogus job, I think I will turn it over to the police. The number is listed at the bottom of an email ..9546077331. I called it and the guy just said Hello and hung up. I googled Accu Tech (which was the name of the company) and yes I got a hit but when I called them, they had nothing to do with it and had heard of the scam before. So with that being said, these people are about to get what's coming to them... DO NOT ACCEPT THIS POSITION OR MONEY!!!

I guess u better not cash the check coz whatever it is, if it was legal then they could have cashed the check themselves right?  And  u knowing about it right now well kinda makes you involves with whatever they're up to. It's up to u really to decide how badly u need what they offered.
