This guy called to supposedly collect on a bad check , when I asked him to mail me the information he refused by stating I ain't sending you nothing" this guy is a jerk and giving Texas a bad name

called to say my credit card didn't go thru.  The problem is I don't have a credit card.

I received a voice mail yesterday from a woman stating that she was calling regarding a declined credit card that they were about to take action on. The message directed me to phone the supervisor directly, Mr. Frank Kendall at 713-623-4527 and to reference a particular number she left. I called the number and was somehow connected to the voicemail box for the 713-623-4527 number where it actually started to playback the returned calls/mesages from individuals who had phoned back. Must have been a quirk in the system but there was no option to speak to anyone or for me to leave a message and after hearing the first voicemail of someone returning Mr. Kendall's call with their reference number and phone number, I hung up and was definitely not going to leave a message if there was an opportunity to do so. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Received a very hesistant message from a woman at this number to call frank kindle regarding a supposed declined credit card. Checked all my credit cards and debit cards, none of them had a declined transaction. This person threatened legal action. in the message, so i called back got nothing but an answering machine asking for phone and reference number. I left message with only the reference number and informed that i was calling the authorities because i checked and none of my cards have declined. I think its identify theft.

I GOT SAME CALL WHEN I CALLED BACK TELLING THEM NOT TO CALL MY NUMBER THEY DISCONECTED THE PHONE ON ME.  I THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO GET PEOPLE IDENTITY.

From what I've read seems like the company people have been changing their names, but are probably the same person.  Seems fishy.

I have had multiple messages from this number but they say to call back a James Hagen.  Say I have a declined credit card, which I don't even use.  The number left on my caller id is different then what I am suppose to call back - they are both 7136234527 and 7136232582
I don't call back because I have all to often had scam calls claiming money for something I don't or it was already paid for in full.  Scams seem to be out a lot now

Automated VM left Ref No. & credit card info, to contact person at a diff number; both tel numbers appear no info available when researched...

We have had multiple voicemails about bad checks that were written.
Didn't return the phone call right away because the person they referenced in the voicemail was not us but after 2 more voicemails I decided I needed to call. This "Frank Phillips" was rude as soon as he answered the phone. I started to explain and he stopped me in mid-sentence and asked for the reference number (which I gave him). He said we'll remove the number and slammed down the phone. I called back and told him he needed phone manners. His reply was, I don't do.."have a nice day". If I needed a collection company for a business, I would never use this company.

this message was left on my ansering machine today- I have had a past due bill with HSN in the past but have paid it off and currently do not owe them anything. If this was legit they would not have left detailed info like this, this is not the first phone scam that I have had to deal with in the last few months. also caller id came up as SHN not HSN

It is urgent that you contact my supervisor today Mr Frank Phillips, it's direct line is 17136234527. It is important that you contact my supervisor Mr Frank Phillips on his direct line is 17136234527."

Received a message today to call back James Anderson at 713-623-4527 about a decline credit card.  I know this is false information because I do not use credit cards.  Who are these people?  When you try to call back all you get is a machine to leave a message.

I received a call from James Anderson re: a declined credit card with HSN. I sent them a payment 3 weeks ago, I know they got my money order by now and they are still calling me. I called back and all I got was an answering machine.

Same as the others, was told to call James Anderson.  It's CPS, a collection agency.  Turns out a credit card that I had used for the "four easy payments" deal expired before the last payment was made.  James Anderson is a rude, condescending individual.  Threatened lawsuits over $53.14 balance.  I tried to explain that I am a professional businessman who travels a lot and is not always next to my mailbox to recieve postal mail.  I updated him with my new credit card number and all was fine.

I received a call yesterday at my work place regarding a declined credit card used in a purchase for HSN. I haven't used HSN in a year or more and certainly don't use credit cards that would be declined. I've contacted HSN (Home Shopping Network) to try and get to the bottom of this. This person violated my privacy rights, even if it were true, he shouldn't have given any information to my office staff.

My father in law got a call regarding a bad check from James Anderson. He left a reference number. When my father in law and I called back, it just says to leave a message

Received a call from this number twice in a row today. Left a message asking me to call James Anderson with a reference number regarding a bad check (never had a check book in my life). Called back and only got a machine. Tried a search of the number and no information was listed anywhere.
