who does this number belong to and what do they want

It's a debt collection service that identifies itself as a law firm and keeps threatening to ruin my credit.  I keep sending them $50 payments every month and they keep sending me hate mail and phone messages full of threats.

This is Christus Hospital. They are attempting to collect a debt. Althought I have set up payment arrangements with them, they still call excessively.

Just got a new cell phone and these people call my number over and over. Have told them I am not who they are looking for and that I don't know who they are looking for and have no contact info for them. They say ok and promise to remove my number from their records. But they still call. This is a collection agency named TLRA that collects for the Christus Hospital Network. They are located in Houston, Texas and collect for Christus Hospitals in the Texas and Louisiana areas. You can send or fax them a cease and desist letter and they MUST stop calling you at the numbers you specify. If they continue to call after receiving your cease and desist letter, you can press charges. I know, because I worked for a collection agency in Texas for a year and a half. By the way, there are hospitals in the Christus network in Beaumont, Tx, Port Arthur, Tx and Lake Charles, Louisiana as well.
Just got another call from 713-683-2060 after I have told them MANY times I am not who they are looking for and to stop calling me. Every time I give them this info they say they are removing my number from their records, but the calls continue all day, every day. I called our local Christus Hospital and asked for the business office. I was transferred to a corporate business office. They gave me the mailing address for TLRA. The address is 1700 W. Loop South, Suite 500  Houston, Texas 77027. They also gave me the 800 number for the corporate business office of the Christus system. It is 1-800-756-7999. I will be mailing off a cease and desist letter to TLRA today. I hope this info helps others in the same situation.

got a call from this number at my work! i'm in a call center we don't have direct phone lines!!!

If you ask for them to remove a # and they still call then whoever gave your # out probably has more than one account. The do not call list is for telemarketers not medical billing offices.  Any #s you provide on your date of service are subject to being called, including work,cell...btw the billing office for Christus is in Houston hence the 713 #.

I get this number calling at least once  a week too. on the hour sometimes. I'm tired of this s***! I thought we were on the do not call list. Next time I'll blow a whistle in the ear!!!!!!!!

they have been calling me ofr several weeks but when i answer they hang up. i finally talked to them yesterday and they say i owe Christus Spohn money. I asked them what the money is for so i can look at my records. they say they can not tell me what it is for because they dont know. The only thing she said is that it was for a hospital visit to Christus. I never had any hospital visit. Then i told them that my insurance would have contacted me if it was something that they dont cover. She said that my insurance was the one who left it unpaid. So i called my insurance and they said i have nothing that is unpaid and that it sounds like a scam.

Just a call and no message. I do not want this unsolicited call.

christus st john is legitimate hospital and sports medicine number in houston across from NASA.
we ahve had dealings with them and legitate.

I am on the no-call list & received a call from them.  I will report them.

Rcvd a call from this # for my husband who I've been seperated from for about 5 YRS. What's weird is, when they called my husband (for whom they were calling for) and I were having dinner at a local restaurant!  I told them they had the wrong number, if I give the slightest hint I know the guy they'll probably never stop calling. I did give him the number, he called back and got a machine.  Guess he owes Christus Hosp. also.

Just got a call, no message. I don't owe Christus anything...no idea why they'd be calling me.

I received a call a week ago and didnt answer bc i didnt know who it was thought they would leave a message if important. No message but called me today. I answered and 2 sec and they hung up. Couldnt find an address except for somewhere around downtown in between two streets. I relized from this site it is the hospital down the road. My fiance went there but didnt think they had my number. Took a few hours to figure this out. Guess they want him to pay his bill.

Getting calls all the time for 713-683-2060. The number that they are calling has never been given out.

Houston does have those hospitals.

Christus is a group of about 13 hospitals, some in South Texas, some elsewhere.  Houston however does not have a Christus, only San Antonio and Corpus Christi.  Christus Health System, it is a real group of hospitals.

This is Christus St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX.  If you don't owe a hospital bill, they must be calling the wrong number.  I owe them about $2500 and pay $25 to $50 a month.  I have missed a month on two occasions and they call incessantly.  They call me at work also.  I am going to write a letter telling them not to call me at work - I work in a law office.

i don't enjoy getting calls from machines, especially seemingly suspicious ones.  roughly, it said," hello, the business office has an important matter to discuss with you.  please return our call @ 1.800.877.8572 @ your earliest cinvenience.  have your home # ready for the representative to assist you. again, thet # is blah blah blah...............:("
  so i googled the 1-800 #.  it belongs to tlra, a debt collection service........bummer. guess i owe someone something.
  guess i will pay it if i owe,  in the meanwhile, have your machine call my machine. they'll do lunch!

i think that this number belongs to a hospital in tx.  because christus is the name of it my dad was reseantly there so im thinking its that hospital.

9/7/07 9:09 am received call from "713-683-2060 Christus."  No one answered.  "Christus" seemed to refer to a hospital and "713" is a Houston area code.  Sure sounds bogus.

Got a call from the number 713.683.2060.  ID came up as Christus.  Know 713 is in Houston area.  They didn't answer when I answered the phone.  Strange call.

Got two calls from this number asked for me by name then did not leave a message when asked who they are. Called number back and got an answering machine.

Get this call about once a week. Last week they called every hour on the hour, no message just call.
