Got call....left no message...have know idea who this call was from

This same number has been calling me everyday around 9 in the morning and again shortly before 5 in the evening. He actually left a message this morning, very bizarre...

"That must be some *something that sounded like canvas or cannabis*, I used to do that all the time. Yeah. If I can do it, you can do it."

Lots of strange pauses and breathing in between statements.

The number is listed as a Houston area landline, I live in Southern Illinois. Very very wierd.

Lady called this number.  Asked for a family member.  I asked who she was with - she said it was a personal matter.  I hung up on her.  Called the number back - line was busy.

this number calls in the middle of the night, I answer no one is there, I call back it's not in service?

Got a call from 1450 yesterday at 3:14 pm. Call showed up as unknown caller and when I answered it there was no answer.  I recieved the same call again this morning at 11:53am this time when I answered the call there was a silence... then I could hear someone hanging up after I said "Hello" twice.

They keep calling my cell phone and when I answer no one says anything, then they call back and when I don't answer they don't leave a message. I was very surprised to see all of these complaints when I searched for the phone number on the internet.

Keep calling and asking for a person that is not registered to this phone number.

It won't help. They get very nasty and then hang up on you.  I've spent numerous hours on this problem. Its now principle in how customer service should be.  Interested to hear your response when you give the earful.

This is a collection agency for AT&T Legacy who merged with SBC and became the "new" ATT.  AT&T Legacy owes me a credit balance and say I owe $71.80.  Legacy has admitted the error and the calls will stop. I have been reassured 5 times from a supervisor in the collections and resolutions department somewhere overseas.  All I get is a confirmation #, not a copy of the e-mail that is sent out.  There is TNT on the account not to harass me.  Since the last 1/2 conference call, there are at least 5 calls a day, with hangups or if you pick up the telephone no response etc.  They can be very beligerient and not listen to what you have to say. The company should be reported to the public utilities commission.

Same deal here,call in the morning and early evening,called back and got busy signal.

Called a friend of mines phone, looking for me.. didn't leave any info and get a busy tone when I call back. Also, as far as I know I didn't put his number on anything.

ya got the same story they call me early in the morning when i work late  night and every time i get a call back i get the busy tone. if the call and i answer i will give them a mouth full.

Called 3-4 times a day for 5 days, asking for a person other than me.  Told them they had the wrong number and  asked them nicely to stop calling me.  They continued to call for two more days, and my responses got downright nasty.   I don't think those scumbags understand english.

Calls once a day even during working hours. Leaves no message.When I called back didn't get an answer.

This number called me at 8 in the morning i didnt answer, they didnt leave a message then 2 seconds later my fiances phone rings with the same number and they didnt say anything when he picked up, call it back and the line is busy.

Called cell phone every 2 hours.

713-771-1450.....they have been calling  both my home and cell phone numbers all morning...they hang up when they get voicemail. my cell and land lines are given to no one but family...and they both end in 3333, which tells me this is some kind of random scam. if it was a bill collector, they would leave a message and no bill collector has both of these numbers.. very strange.....

Yea, they call and leave no message. And when I tried to call back, it was busy constantly.

Call 2 times a day never leave a message.

Keep calling me and leaving no message.  They also do not disclose what they want or who i'm talking to.

I got called twice within an hour on my cell phone but I missed the calls.  I also tried calling back, but it was busy.  Whoever it is is going to get a rude awakening when and if they call back.

the woman asked for a family member who has nothing to do with my number since they called my cell number and claimed this was the number they had listed for him pretty fishy they said it was a personal matter
