called and said press 1 for english then put me on hold said it was commonwealth financial then asked me to verify last 4 digits of my social I said no and he says well I have your personal info and wanted me to verify I hung up

calls and when i anwser they ask me to press 1 for english and put me on hold and then this man answered and when i stated who i was he hung up!!!!  STOP calling me!  (713) 936-2285

I have got a phone call from this number,  when I answered their call, they ask you to listen to the call in English, press '1', (and then in Spanish, press '2') to be able to listen the information. After I press "1", they let you listen music for a while, then a woman asked me what could she help.  I told her that I got this phone call and want to know the reason, she just rudely hang it up, didn't say anything.  Somebody need to take actions to stop this kind of harassing calls please.

Received a call from this numer only to be faced with a pre recorded msg saying, "for Englisj press" over and over. I hung up. I did not press 1 out of concern i would be inadvertently agreeing to pay a charge on my phone bill.

I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING CALLS LEFT ON MY VOICEMAIL FROM THIS NUMBER & WOULD LIKE IT TO STOP. THERE IS NEVER A MESSAGE FROM THEM & I HAVEN'T A CLUE WHO IT IS.

They are leaving threatening messages

I have been receiving calls from this number twice a day for the last month.  Sometimes there's a recording, other times no one speaks.  

Received this call today.  I Called it back and "Peggy, the one from the commercial" had the audacity to ask me where I got that number. When I told him it was from my Caller ID, he kept yelling, and I hung up. Never found out what they wanted or who they are looking for.

Yeah, it's a collection agency. They asked for someone but wouldn't say what they wanted, that they had to speak specifically with the person they asked for. These people are very evasive about answering questions, just keep asking for the person that called. Thing is, 713 is a Houston area code, yet the company is based in Pennsylvania. Pretty tricky, I'd say.

This number has been calling me off and on, just received a call from them again today, August 1, 2013, turned up my radio pretty loudly and poof they went away. I'm going to try this for all my unwanted calls for awhile and see how effective it is.

This number has already called SEVERAL times (multiple times per day), & they never leave a message. Since it was a local area code, I called back finally. I was greeted by an automated voice identifying them as "Commonwealth Financial Services." I hung up, & when I Googled that company, it came up as Debt Recovery/ Collection Agency.

Here's a new trick: When you answer their call, they ask you to listen to the call in English, press '1', (and then in Spanish, press '2'). If you don't do anything they just hang up. I suspect they are debt collectors.

bogus calkl received today.  no message and only rang 3 times.  why isn't do not call list workingf?

Call us all the time, daily. I have told them repeatedly we are not who they are looking for. Now, when they random dial, they just say ("hold for the next whatever)" like I had called them. If I do not answer the phone, there is never a message left. If I try to call them back (to try to get our phone # off their list) it ways your call cannot be completed as dialed and no one answers.

These are scum bags who purchased a debt and trying to collect. It does not matter if that person owe or does not owe, these scum bags keep calling. Just ignore them. That do not call registry do not work with these scum bags.

I called the # back and it said NCC a division of Common Wealth Financial.

Call all the time and when I don't answer they leave a message that asks you to choose your language then it asks you to hold, and then I usually hang up.

Has called more than once and no message left!
