I received a call and answered knowing which account this was from. I spoke to United Recovery's representative and explained that I was current with my bill from the company they are representing. This person did not want me to speak, refused to "LISTEN" to me saying they needed to contact the company and communicate with each other better on accounts. Still he tried to keep interrupting me as he read his script. He must have refreshed his account and showed I did make a payment last month for the amount more than the minimum balance.. So why are you calling me? Speak to your account holders, verify the information and discuss further on actions taken on accounts of their customers. You really think I'm going to waste my time talking to you? If the company that I am currently paying and up to date with isn't calling me themself, don't think I'll be taking your calls. Kiss my a**!

I got a call from my grandmother that this phone number was looking for me.  She tried to ask what they wanted of me and the guy said it was very personal business.  So she gave him my dad's phone number instead.

They're bottom feeders because they don't care about your situations. Not everyone is deadbeat. If you've lost wages due to loss of commissions, job loss or you've landed on workman's comp, then your earnings will suffer. If you're earnings suffer, guess what? So will the lenders. And if you're working for bloodsucking leaches hired by billion dollar financial institutions who are only concerned about the every penny they can possibly yank out of you, it's what it is. Thank God for the iPhone. 1 click and that number is blocked forever.

Nice informative post. You may have their network of bottom feeders. You need to start expressing your anger with all disclosed call numbers and I'm sure your list of non disclosure call numbers is impressive too. Try a cease desist complaints to their BBB's state and federal consumer protection agencies.

United Recovery Systems also uses 281-901-6991 AND they called my house today looking for someone I don't know using a local number of 918-770-7192, which happens to be Jim and Mary's Carpet Installation in Tulsa, OK! They'll do anything to get someone to answer their calls. I only answered because it was a local #. I also notified Jim and Mary that their phone number is being used for such purposes most likely without their permission. I asked the guy who called why they use a local # and he said it was a courtesy for the customer so they won't be responsible for any charges for the phone call. I told him the only way I would be charged for a phone call from him is if he called me collect. Do you think I'm an idiot? *insert cricket chirping here* Yep that's what I thought!

They just called me looking for my brother, saying they have his personal information, for a serious business matter.
Um, my brother has his own phone number and if he's not answering you there is probably a reason why, why call me? They've called me at all hours of the day and night but leave no voicemail, so when I finally answer and see that they're trying to get my brother, I was pissed. I rambled off on the guy, that this is my personal phone number that is on a do not call list, and that I have all the numbers they've been calling me from and if they call and get even one ring from my phone again, I will report them for harassment and I hung up. Hopefully they'll get the hint I'm not falling for their scam.

They called me, I'm deaf. My voicemail says not to call & leave messages, instead for them to send a text. Lol. I have some residual hearing so i finally answer the call, they ask for my ex. I gave them his number &told them to stop calling me. They stopped calling.

I have gotten calls from this number at least twice a day. They call, but do not leave a message.  The number belongs to United Recovery Systems. They were calling to collect a $79.00 outstanding bill that I paid off months ago. I looked up their web site and e-mailed them saying the following: Under the "Fair, Debt Collections Act" you are not to call my number ever again and left it at that. It's been 2 weeks now and no more phone calls.

This number has called several times while at work and leave no message.  

So let me get this straight.  You obtain a loan. You stop making payments and are one of the leading
causes as to why consumer debt rates are so high, and they are the bottom feeders ???

Got a call from these ppl looking for my ex daughter-in-law.  I live in another state and have never talked to her on my land line, haven't seen her in 20 years, but did get an email from her about 5 years ago and then I blocked her.  No one at this company could explain why they called ME or how they connected her to me.

They continue to call and harass just like they do with everyone.  These are the numbers they have used so far to call and never leave a message.

they did the same thing to me, asked me to identify myself before he would tell me what it's about. i gave him my name and then asked what it was about and he said "a personal matter" then said he needed my address before he could tell me. i hung up...probbaly something for my ex husband..

Call at least once a week, no matter what I tell them.  I wish I could get hold of the person who used my number falsely.

There is some kind of continuous champaign from bottom feeders to try to trick me into picking up the phone to hear their scam by using varying fake Caller IDs and various phone numbers. My phone can be quiet from spam calls for weeks and then, all of a sudden, I get hit with up to 4 calls per day. They use different company names, but surely they are all part of the same organization.

My life is a living daily spam phone call hell, and I can't get out.  When will this harassment end? The last several days have gone like this:

03/29/13 Friday at 8:40am, called from 713-955-9268 using fake caller ID "UNASSIGNED". Location: Texas (Houston, Pasadena). 800notes identified caller as "United Recovery Systems".

03/28/13 Thursday (2nd call) at 7:58pm, called from 909-912-7400 using caller ID "ARS". Location: California (Anaheim, Chino, Diamond Bar). 800notes identified as a "ARS National" which is "Associated Recovery Systems"

03/28/13 Thursday 8:36am, called from 281-901-6996 using fake caller ID "Private caller". Location: Texas (Baytown, Houston, Missouri City). 800notes identified as a "URS". Easy to deduct that "URS" is "United Recovery Systems"

03/27/13 Wednesday (3rd call) at 6:53pm, called from 832-379-5404 using fake caller ID "Private caller". Location: Texas (Baytown, Houston, Missouri City). 800notes identified as a debt collector. From clues we know this is "United Recovery Systems".

03/27/13 Wednesday (2nd call) at 5:44pm, called from 412-235-6111 using caller ID "PORTFOLIORECOVE". Location: Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh). 800notes identified as Portfolio Recovery Associates.

This is the way they work. Using different phone numbers, using fake Caller IDs.

I don't have outstanding debts!  This is just harassment.  There should be a law against this.

This insane and continuous calling to me, who has no debts, is NOT profitable to these companies, and serves no purpose.  So why do they never stop calling? Why do they call for days, months, years, without stopping? They should call people that don't pay their bills, credit card and loan payments.

Dear United Recovery Systems, URS, NOVOLINKCOMM, Portfolio Recovery, ARS, Associated Recovery Systems, PLEASE GO AWAY.  We know you are all the same company, using fake Caller IDs and many phone numbers.  I guess you do serve one purpose, companies like you make the American people hate you and hate what you do. You are a pest, and need to stop bothering people.

Came up as "unknown". Left no message. We are debt free so no reason to be calling us.

It's a debt collector. They are rude, ruthless and coldblooded. They also call from this number 281-901-6997. They are not too smart.

Why would anyone call and ask me for personal information to began a call regarding a "business matter?" Very unusual protocol so of course he met Mr. Click and is now on a BLOCKED list

These people called and all it says on the caller ID is Texas Call. When you call the number back it says United Recovery Service, if you know your parties extension.... It also shows as a Texas landline. Since there is no reason for them to be calling me, guess they will keep calling a number with no answer.

This number belongs to United Recovery Systems a Debt Collection Co.  They think they are clever when they use a series of phone numbers but they cannot fool a smart public.
