its 12:48 pm and I have received 5 calls since 9:30 am all from people wanting to give me a free credit card machine or whatever since i recently filed for a Texas sales tax id. but seriously this is ridiculous for them to harass us like this calling non stop all from different numbers not all of which are local. so far these are the numbers i have received some of which were not polite enough to leave a message. I would much rather receive junk mail from them than receive these calls all day.

Just got my Texas business number Saturday and they just started calling my cell today with no message.

I think they use old business license lists to harvest phone numbers and even thoough they have been told to take number off list many times...continue to annoy the number because no one stops them.
been getting this type of all for years ..wasting my cel minutes ...i no longer answer
if we all did this we could make this kind of harassing NOT PROFITABLE to these jerks

Called THREE TIMES today... never left a message. Assuming it's a scam. No one calls 3 times and doesn't leave a message.

They started calling today, 4/23/12 and they try to make it sound like they are calling from the state of texas. I hate these spammers.

I also recently got a Sales and Use tax certificate and this number won't quit trying to offer me credit card processing services.
...do they not understand that while it's a business number, it's also a CELL phone, and that using an autodialer is not legal?

Looking up that number (2819713503) here results in this:
"This company sends recorded information pretending to have an important public service announcement from the State of Texas. Actually, they are touting credit card merchant services. They call all the time. I tried to call this number back to complain, but it's listed as out of service."
"Same here. They get your phone number from State of Texas filings."
I just received my Texas Sales and Use tax certificate - they get our numbers from there.
Looking up that number (2819713503) here results in this:
