I called it back, someone actually answered it, belongs to a AmTech Funding group in Santa Ana California...whoever they are...

jerk keeps calling several times a day and hangs up when I answer.
if I don't answer it just rings and rings. wife thinks it's one of my ex-girlfriends looking for a "booty call".

I've been getting calls from this number for some time now. I'm listed in the Federal Do Not Call list so my number should be scrubbed from call lists.  Last call was received at 7:40pm on 3/11/08

i placed an inquiry on lowermybills.com and ever since ive been getting calls from this number....

This guy calls my cell all the time.  The company is a mortgage brokerage boiler room.  I looked at a refinance site and this is how they got my number.

This but head calls all the time and hangs up. he calls my office cell phone and house. how do stop this crap. he allways hangs up. When i call back the phone just rings?/ WTF

This number is ALWAYS hang up. What's the deal? Can't we get rid of these nuisance callers?

714-245-5165  has repeatedly called our business lines and hung up.  Our online business is located at www.raesinimages.com and the only listing for our phone number.

We were told by our local sheriff's office to hit #57 or #57 every time this phone number appears, then after 1 month they will contact the numbers owner and report them via their state police for harrassment.

I get up to 12 calls a day from this number on my cell phone! The first time they left a message for someone else, saying that they were returning his call about refinincing his mortgage to consolidate bills. The next zillion times they don't leave messages (I don't answer as this is my cell phone and I'm not paying for calls from numbers I don't recognize). I think I will answer today and tell them to remove my number. They abviously can't remove my name because they don't know it.

I got 5 calls today from Amtek via 714-245-5165. I told them the first time that "Billy" doesn't live here. 4 more came thoughout the day. I told him that this is a cold call and I'm reporting it to the AG. He insisted it wasn't as I jumped down his throat. Next time I'm going to answer "Billy here...shoot" and screw with the b*****d!

The name of this company is Amtek Funding group and I also have made numerous attempts to contact them but to no avail. Can someone please let me know how to make them stop calling me.

i went online and put my info in and i did not give them my social. i am now getting a bunch of calls and they just hang up. what is going on here?

No one talks when I answer the phone.  They call all the time.

Antec funding group.  A front trying to solicit funding targeting the elderly  and has been happening for over a month.

I answered the call - they hung up - I called back - rang 4 times - answered and I could hear other phone rings or tones in the back ground - they hung up - I called back - a gentleman answered was surprised that I requested that he not call my number anymore - he asked me for my name and number - and I told him - you already have it - don't call me anymore and I am posting this on google - and with the attorney generals office for this date and this time August 14 - 12:20 pm.

I've also received calls from this number.  I call them back.  They say they are for a mortgage company.  I've asked to be removed from their calling list, it has yet to happen

My caller ID shows this number. I do not pick up the call because I do not recognize the number and the caller never leaves a message.
