came to serve legal paperwork at my old employer.  left phone number.  ellis / diaz law firm.  probably some agressive collection agency.  let them do their job to the fullest.  i'm definately not contacting them for the bad news.  good luck profiting on others bad debts and greif in this time of economic distress.

I don't like debt collectors any more than you do. But didn't you profit off the capitol of others when times were good? In all reality, Congress and the Federal Reserve is borrowing, printing, and spending money we don't have and prices constantly go up because of the expansion of the money supply - this is why we can't put $1,000 under our mattress and expect it to have the same buying power in 10 years, so we're forced to throw our income into a financial system that no one understands so it can stay ahead of inflation... but no one is to blame for you borrowing the money except you.

Got a call from a guy named Ellis Merrit trying to recover a debt from a family member of mine. This is a collection agency, who claims they are a legal firm.
