I received a voice message from phone # 714-333-9408 It sounded like a male east Indian who was very angry with his girl friend for not calling back.  I received two more calls from this phone # but they did not leave a message.

I received a call from this number. I heard a clip of static on the other end and then no other noises.

Yea, I called the number back and this lady answered who I could not understand with an accent.  I told her that I keep getting a call from this number and I want to know who it is.
I think the voice thingy said instafax??
So I was then put through to this male, who also has an accent.
He asked how many times that this number calls I said I dunno once every other month.  He said he was a lawyer and that this number is being used to spam or crank call people.  He said we're looking into this and I wasn't the first to call them.  He said give me your phone number and I'll be sure to put it on the list for them to look into...
Ummmm, yea right, I ain't giving out my number!!!

Recieved a call a few moments ago. Silence on the other end of the line.

East Indian Male called or atleast sounded like one. Tried talking me into some sort of long distance plan told him I was not interested then in total non phone solicitor fashion hung up on me,

I receive a call every 2 days or so from this number.  Never a message.

I've been getting a couple of calls a week from this number, but I never answer.  I tried calling it back today and got a recording stating company name (Instafax?) and requesting me to dial my extention or enter 0 for assistance.  I hit 0 but it disconnected.

Would like my number removed from that caller. Better yet get rid of this caller.

Got a call from the same bunch today. It appears that they are farming the phone books in Canada. Once again (pleasant sounding gentleman of Middle Eastern accent) who kept pressing for a credit card number.

With the info above, I figured I should call them, So I called them back. They state their copmany name, but it's too fast to catch. You can press 0 for an operator.

I got hold of the operator (pleasant sounding gentleman of Middle Eastern accent) and as soon as I started to explain that I was getting daily calls, he hung up. I called back again, giving the benefit of the doubt, and got the same person. As soon as I spoke, he hung up again.

This is not usual behaviour for either Collection Agency, Genuine Business or Honest Telemarketer and is starting to look more like a scam.

I reported them to the FTC.  

The number is in California, I live in Canada which would be very strange for a Collection Agency to be calling us.
