I received a call from this number at 2:30 in the morning and no one was there.  I receive similar calls from a 714 area code, all different numbers, throughout the day nearly every day and they always hang up when I answer.  I have nothing going on with UCI as suggested in other posts so I have no idea what it is.

I called the number and it's a recording stating "You may qualify for assistance in upgrading your home..." That was enough for me to block the number.

got a call at 948am today from this number...no message was left? called them back, said it is not a working number? so annoying to be harrassed by these telemarketers!!! i'm on the do not call list also....they still get through...=(

My husband is seeing some one at UCI med center got a call from this number no message some robo/auto callers do not talk to machines but it would be nice if it said UCI instead of only the number

This number was from UCI Medical Center in Orange (The City Drive).  It does not identify whom it from, nor can the number be called back.  Yesterday, I phoned UCI with a question for my doctor, and this is the line that the response came back on.

I received a referral from my doctor and this is the number they called from. Just call them back, it's more than likely to set up an appt.

This number is an outgoing number from one of the patient rooms that have a phone available in their room.

I have received automated calls from this number reminding me of a scheduled appointment at UCIMC.

And please don't try calling it with a 949 area code because that's my work direct line...and I work for Sage -- an accounting software. Unless you're interesting in an accounting software to help run your business, I advise you reach out to UCI Medical Center.

09 Sept 2011 -- 7:45 am -- Caller ID said "unknown name".  Received two calls, one right after the other from this number.  No message was left either time.  If this is UC Irvine Medical Center collections calling, it is an odd time for them to call (7:45 am).  Also, we have never been to UCI Medical Center, and have no connection there.  Received a call from this number back in June 2011.  No message left then either.

i got a call from this number in the middle of the night at 2:30am (EST). I called it back this morning and it is disconnected. I do not know the caller company.

This is indeed the general outgoing number for UCI Medical Center. I just received a call from the number, but when I called back it said the line was no longer in service. I then called the department I guessed the call to be from and verified that they had just called me.

It is the collection department for the Pain Management Center at UC Irvine Gottschalk medical plaza.

Yes this is the number for UCI medical center. Listen to the message for a callback number. If they did not leave a message, then chances are it could be a collection call.

Is the number outgoing only?  I tried to call them back, and I get a recording saying my call cannot be completed as dialed.  I've redialed a couple of times and get the same recording each time.
